@URALLKUNTS They're trying to compensate for human limitations. Arrows travel much farther and straighter than a human can accurately throw. Even a pro QB would have trouble hitting a small target from 70 yds, much less hitting it accurately. They maybe could have put it 5-10 yds farther, but I'd say it's about right after compensating.

Even I could shoot 10/10 in the 10 ring at 20 yards! The "statistics" for an Olympic archer and their accuracy comes from the Olympic distance of 70m (76.6 yards). Lets see him get 50% from there..

@solidacro Yes, any archer worth their salt could easily hit 10 bullseyes from 20 yards, but consider the flipside. What human being could throw a ball 70 yards with ANY sort of accuracy? You could combine Brees, Manning, and Brady all in one and it would still be a stroke of luck to even hit the target, much less accurately. Yeah, the target probably could have been 5-10 yards farther back, but they had to compensate for human limits.

I have to admit I am a biased Peyton Manning fan, but after seeing this amazing performance, Drew does demonstrate unbelievable accuracy.

Peyton has revolutionized the QB position as a true field general, and I don't believe anyone compares to Manning (except possibly Tom Brady) when it comes down to diagnosing a defense in a split second. But, Brees, after the last two seasons, definitely deserves to be mentioned w/ Manning and Brady as the Best in the League.

Off the top of your head besides Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney, can you name anyone on the Colt's D that stands out? Bob Sanders doesn't count, he's only reliable for 2 games.

The Saints always had a decent run game and decent special teams as well. I still give it to Manning for taking the entire team by himself to the super bowl.

there are a lot of things to take into consideration [to which this video didn't point out] when comparing a football to an arrow.

one of which is a little thing called wind. the shape/size/mass/spin of the football is barely going to be effected, as they pointed out, by wind, whereas the slightest draft can change the course of an arrow dramatically.
