I used this trap and I caught the mouse. Then i released it in a park near my house. The secret is knowing what he likes to eat, and a very very good tip, use a tall bucket because they can jump trust me. Thanks :D

there shifty lil fckers, the amount of time's ive found baitless snap traps... i setup a similar trap in the garden out front, glass bottle over the bucket, peanut butter on the end of it, the slip they fall they drown..lovely

@xhessxpressx I did that once, walked down to the local park, let him go and within about 10 seconds a bird swooped down and took him away. The fellas seem like they can run fast when in a house situation but in an open space like a park that little bloke didn't stand a chance.

@91rein91 you really only need enough water to keep them from being able to touch the bottom. This keeps them from being able to get traction from the surface so they can't do anything but swim.
