  • Isn't she Beautiful! My grateful thanks go out to all the people involved in keeping this "Queen of the Sky" Flying. Long may she Reign.

  • I was at the airfield in Fairford this weekend, but since the show was cancelled I didn't get to see her fly. It would have made my entire weekend worth it.

  • Such a shame about the deluge that wiped out RIAT. However, Flying Legends at Duxford went ahead and there was a capacity crowd and fine weather at this superb show of famous aircraft. The Vulcan would have certainly made some heads turn if it had flown over Duxford instead! It is a legend in its own right.

  • She'll be back soon...!

  • Raw power!!!

  • XH558 flew again 12:28 on 18 October 2007. A superb sight.

  • She's up again on Monday April 14th 13.00hrs.

  • Thanks for the info. I'll try to be in the area around Bruntingthorpe.

  • she's also scheduled for most of this years airshows. cant wait to my local one in september

  • Tody i think, thursday 18th october. Should be able to hear it if you live in that part of the world.

  • does anyone know a rough date of when she'll be flying next. I know that its all up and running.

  • very soon, very soon indeed, though they will not announce it due to that part of the world coming to a complete stand still if word got out.
