It was all done in Unreal Tournament 3 using the Unreal Engine

All of the animation is custom (including vehicles)

UT and Gears are both great games, hate to say it but console gaming isn't going away, stop whining about how they "sold out" the PC fans-both were great.

Nobody is saying console gaming should "go away". Gears is a fine enough game for consoles. UT just barely works on consoles, they had to dumb it down to make it playable and then to simplify things for themselves they left many of the console nerfs in. Previous PC only UT games had shitloads of options, most of which have been eliminated now, because of their console focus. They sacrificed nothing for Gears so - If you're gonna make a PC game, make it a PC game or don't make it at all. Simple.

BTW when they made gears of war they should have said "from the studio that brought you Unreal Tournament." Unreal series started in 99 with UT then they made ut2003 which failed so they redid the game and made ut2004 with all the same maps. All 3 of those games were PC only. Now that they have gone to consoles it ruined UT series and alienated all the PC players that loved the series.

This is not gears of war people. This is Unreal Tournament 3 which it is the 4th version of the game which is a failure cause gears of war ruined it. Previous versions of Unreal Tournament made epic its money to make gears of war for consoles and sell out to its PC players cause UT3 fails on what they have delivered in past.

But the actions, movement, and camera work caught me by surprise. The voice acting quality added to it even more. I didn't know you could do such machinimas in this game.

The UT3 characters are "ripoffs" in that the character designers were probably ordered to make them similar to the Gears characters to repeat the success of Gears, which is more widely known than UT, even though UT has been around far longer. This is why when UT3 is introduced it says "from the studio that brought you Gears of War" - pretty dumb of them and it has alienated many UT fans because they have tried to turn UT into something it isn't rather than playing on its strengths.
