When are we going to care, our great grand children will not see any animals, do we need to show pictures of animals we have killed through taking over, I love Steve the first real guy.
Steve knew Exactly what he was doing with baby Bob & that croc! No, no one else should Ever try that, they're not Steve with a life time of skill & expertise. Those nay-sayers would have said that Bob Sr. was endangering & abusing Steve when he let his 9yr old son jump on his 1st croc. No one else can do what they do or compare to this family. Neither father was wrong. Steve was a Great Dad & Loved his kids more than breath! And God Bless Teri for raising the kids as Steve would,she's perfect!
@beccagreen108 Yes it is very dangerous but people mistaked or being a cruel evil dad or having some kind of mental issue when we know steve would never harm his child or anyone else. He always said to everyone from the start that we need to respect all animals that can certainly be dangerous. He knew exactly what to do and he said in a documentary that the croc was already well fed so he was calm and could hurt baby bob.

It is really sad. My mom still cannot watch anything he is in because it's just too hard for her. we felt like we knew him and it's been really surreal.
Those kids love what they do in front of the camera, not just because it's in their heart, but because they are carrying on their father's love. How many of us have carried on a family company or tradition because our parents did? There is nothing in their eyes that shows anything but joy in front of the camera. If you look into their eyes, you will see everything you need to know.

The part where Bob is up in the tree reminds me of a quote by Lyn Irwin, of Steve:
"If I couldn't see him, he was either up on the roof or up in some tree."
I really see the hope of the future with Bindi and Bob, and I hope I might be able to work along side them in that future. Steve is my hero and my role model.
Gosh they can't let the Baby Bob incident go. That crocodile wasn't hungry when he fed him while holding that baby. He had already fed him enough to tire him out and slow him down before he even brought the kid in there. He knew what he was doing and he was in total control.

I completely agree with you. Steve will never be forgotten. He did way too much for conservation and brought humanity to many who didn't understand about wildlife. He was one of the best dads ever also. You can't forget a person like that.
