As for Comedy Metal, c'mon, whips? chains? silly hats? riding motorcycles onto the stage? It's funny, yes? I've seen Priest 5 times over the years starting in 1978 and one thing they've never done is take themselves too seriously.
Well, of course they don't take it too seriously, alot of the gay s&m look that Rob introduced was "tongue in cheek", but it doesn't make them a joke band. A bit of a gimmick?
