  • Can you send me a link to this graphic used here?

  • Thank god they didnt ruin it with a crappy british accent like they did with prince of persia.

  • @MrHairyNutz naw, they ruined it with a crappy american one instead.

  • @MrDemonpoetry Have you seen the revised Clash of The Titans?

Nothing but British accents and the main charector was too busy trying to go for a Jason Statham voice he forgot he needs to be heard & litterally i found myself turning the volume up to hear him but turning it down to hear everyone else, it ruined the movie.

And what is it with British actors being so cold and not having much of any emotions?

Maybe its the gloomy constant rainy weather up there on that tiny iland causing this.

  • @MrHairyNutz have you ever actually been to Britain? it's random weather, it isn't constantly gloomy, in scotland it's cold and rainy most of the time, in england it's random weather. The reason we talk the way we do is because thats the way we have to, most movies are made by americans and that means we have to put on a certain accent, a posh one most of the time, when infact there are loads of different regional accents. ever seen a monty python movie? think their cold and don't have emotions?

  • @MrHairyNutz

Yea the dialogue should have been ancient greek.

  • @MrHairyNutz

Conan the Cimmerian in Howard's books is a Pre-Celt and ancestor of the Scots and Irish so realisticly one of those accents would make more sense. American accents like Australian or Canadian are far too modern to make sense in any kind of ancient movie.

  • @Cybopath Have you ever heard an irish speak or Scottish person talk?

If you think they have heavy accents now i cant imagine how it would be back then.

The original clash of the titans & conan the barbarian, the ten commandments, cleopatra & the movie legend as well as tons more had American accents and they pwned.

Now look at the new Clash of the titans its all British accents & the lead actor ruins the whole movie by basically whispering trying to go for a jason statham voice but fails.

  • @MrHairyNutz

Eh yes I'm Scottish. Do you have trouble following Sean Connery or Gerard Butler in 300?

Original Clash of the Titans had plenty of ENGLISH accents as did The Argonauts and Conan had plenty of European accents especielly the main guy Mr. Schwarzenegger. American actors themselves generally adopt a more pronounced 'theatrical' voice when approaching historical films as a New Yorker or Texan would be outta place in a Toga. Ever seen John Wayne's performance of Gengis Khan?

  • i love that fucking sword and his fathers and the sword dolph had in he man

  • can you synch this to the movie

  • ralph moeller or matthias hues look as good as this painting and either COULD have been an amazing THOR in the new film ....but chris hemsworth of star trek got the role instead

  • Yes, this you can trust.

  • Thats the greatest line I ever heard ha ha! I was born on a battlefield the first sounds I heard were the screams of dying men! HA
