OMG J I have been on that site almost all night last night it's very very astonishing to be honest I thought McCain would be the one to have been backed more by special interest. I mean this is incrediable
That is the point that a lot of the people who oppose NAU, etc make. Both parties are bought and paid for by the same people. I bet if you go back to the early primaries the same donors you are talking about donated smaller sums to all the candidates so that no matter who gets the nomination they can say they were supporting them from the beginning
& IF u do that you will STILL SEE they they DIDNT GIVE THEM the SAMEEEEEEEEE AMOUNT!!! since the BEGINNING banks gave more to OBAMA! harsh truth isnt it?
Okay Jwriter4, I absolutely respect anybody who spends their time searching for truth and passing it on to others, even if i don't agree with them. I think I agree with you but what is the bottom line? Are you saying Obama is in the pocket of the most powerful banking interests in the world? Arn't they all? What do we do about it? Will this make you not want to vote for him?
this doesnt sway my vote; im ust spiting out TRUTH...between our two candidates obama has recieved the most.....the other politicians arent of concern right now...we're talking strictly about our two candidates here
With respect Jwriter4, How naive to think that companies don't 'buy in' to both parties, especially during a presidential campaign. Corporations OWN America(especially the political parties). It has always been this way. Even in the rest of the world (except China,North Korea & Russia). BTW, I'm not saying that it's a good thing, not by any means! Just look at the sub-prime mess! The American banking system needs a serious KICK up the ASS by the American people & soon!
nah im not naive i believe both candidates aint worth shit..i also believe its been this way for decades..the people been getting played for decades; however the FACT IS obama collected THE MOST...and therefore has LOTS of special interest to adhere too..evidence of this is his inability to answer the ? on the bail out the SAME FOR McCain..I just call it how i see it my friend.
Thanks for the website. Interesting information. Interesting that Obama received more from these financial houses I would have thought they would give more to the Republican candidate. I guess they contribute more to the candidate they think is more likely to win. Good job at finding this.
yep its surprising isnt it?? in any event be sure to play with the drop down box that way you can scroll thru allllll the industries that contributed...
