I'm going to buy a rc car but i really don't know i can afford either and electric 1/10 buggy or truggy but then again which one will be the best in running around in the garden and zooming along on the street?
good vid guys. i'm new to 1/8th scale. i've got a 1/16th scale buggy and truggy. the truggy was so mych more durable. the video has helped my choise of buggy or truggy and truggy wins for me. now my problem is what to get. the options i have are Ansmann Terrier RTR (£250), Hyper ST RTR (£350) or i could get a Terrier Kit build it myself with some good servo's a Ansmann Force .28 force engine and 2.4Ghz etroniks radio gear for £350. £350 i know is a low price to pay for a Truggy but please help.
why is there more world championships (which are heard of) in the buggy class and not truggy, coz im a truggy man and i seem to only find a handfull of truggy races in the uk

If your truggy is 10 times better than your buggy, your buggy has some problems... And then you say buggies are for kids?? Jeff is such an amazing driver. I love this video, Jeff is dialed in with his truggy, and its a Mugen so of course hes going to give hell to the Kyosho ;)
To watch, personally i like the buggys for their agility, but to drive you gotta be good to get 100% out of a top buggy with a top engine, like others have said, you may find the truggy easier to drive. I drive buggies, allthough i do own a truck (not truggy) which is fun, but the buggy just blows my mind everytime i drive it, there amazing machines and when you get a handle on them they are such good fun and at the top of the nitro food chain ;)
@TheGusto69 I FIND BOTH BUGGY & TRUGGY ARE THE SAME TO DRIVE ALL DEPENDS ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE PERSON IN CONTROL OF THE CAR, A TRUGGY IS BETTER ROUND A TRACK AS IT SOAKS UP THE BUMPS & JUMPS AND DOES NOT GO OUT OF CONTROL SO MUCH, I DO 20FT JUMPS WITH MY HB D8T AND NOTHING BREAKS BUT MY HB D8 WILL DO THE SAME JUMP AND PARTS JUST BREAK EASY. SO A TRUGGY IS MORE SOLID THAN A BUGGY...
@SLIFXUK ok. But i still dont agree a truggy is more durable that a buggy. By its desight, the truggy has a harder job due to the longer arms, wheels. etc. Im not saying for a second truggys are not durable, but i am saying if you take a buggy and a truggy from the same manufacturer, the buggy should be a little more durable.
@RCNITRORC i would say truggy myself i run a kyosho inferno st RR and hotbodies D8T. i ran buggy before but u cant be as aggressive with them as a truggy. Myself being a truggy fan id go for truggy mainly for wider body and aggressiveness.
