  • Every time I think I've plumbed the depths of british comedy, seen every panel show, every sketch show from 1960 to now, every absurd weird thing that island has ever exported, I find something new. and beautiful.

  • :):):):):):)

  • Not as much as a bell end as you for not realising I purposely clicked on it to write my comment. You are a retard just like Mr Armstrong.

  • @Tempest500

Oh no! How shocked you must have been to accidentally click on this video then.

  • @Tempest500 and yet you still clicked on it.... haha how much of a bell end must you be

  • It's funny because in his actual Who Do You Think You Are he finds out he is decended from royalty... As we know, all whores :P

  • Christ shut the fuck up both of you!

  • So Brits pronounce "whore" as "hoh"? I thought you guys were masters of the English language.

  • @Supermassively The English are the masters of the English language. hence 'English'. Pronunciation can differ from spelling it's common practice. If you're not English, and you speak English (obviously with a different accent distorting and deforming our good language) please don't say we're getting it wrong. We wouldn't re-write the rules of baseball and claim you're doing it wrong.

  • @AlexJWGordon If you are pronouncing it less phonetically than Americans, you're doing it wrong.

  • @Supermassively If you're being pretentious on youtube, you're an American.

  • @Quite89 I see you deal comfortably in falsehoods.

  • @Supermassively well, pneumonia has a 'p' in it, but I don't hear anyone pronouncing it 'pee-neumonia', or gnat as 'g-nat'.

There are silent letters in every language.

Also, you can still hear the 'r' in her pronunciation. So she's just saying the word in a shorter and more clipped way than most north americans.

  • @smakn But silent letters are an inherently stupid and pointless concept, and the English, who claim to be masters of this language, are pronouncing it even less phonetically than the Americans that are supposedly "mangling the English language".

By the way, "pneumonia" is Greek, and the Greeks did pronounce the "P". "Gnat" is from old German, and they pronounced the "G". You "masters of English" were the ones who mangled those words with un-phonetic silent nonsense.

  • @Supermassively english is not a phonetic language and it can't be (think about how many homonyms/heterographs there are and you'll see why). So if you want to speak a phonetic language go and learn Japanese

  • @atlantiantokra Any language can be phonetic. Just because some moron made the mistake of not eliminating phonetic redundancy, doesn't mean it couldn't have evolved to be as such.

I wouldn't learn Japanese if my life depended on it. Horrendously ugly language from a sick culture.

  • @Supermassively

Supermassive Twat, Japanese is a horrendously ugly language from a sick culture? Xenophobic pig. Go and look that up in the dictionary

  • @DALTINI69 Yes, it is. Go and look up "-phobia" in the dictionary.

  • i can't stop laughing roflmao

  • Who(re) do you think you are?

  • The funniest thing is, those old censuses are EXACTLY that blunt.

  • Even funnier having seen Armstrong's actual Who do you think you are episode, no whores but lots of blue blood

  • It's obviously not a parody of someone when it says alexander armstorng :L some people...

  • who is this a parody of?

  • @Bleumange - It's a parody of a tv program.

  • @TheSpankymonkey I said WHO

  • @Bleumange - And people have told you it's not WHO, it's the tv program. The person portrayed doesn't seem to be a parody of someone else. It's the program they are making a parody of.

  • This is the spoof - not the actual Who Do You Think You Are?

  • @jumble99 no shit :P

  • Armstrong's brilliant crestfallen & despairing facial expressions on the revelations of his family history are a masterpiece in comedic skills. He is a genius-as is Ben Miller also. The cream of British comedy acting & writing that we have not seen in a long time.Give them Knighthoods !!!!

  • Oh the irony - in the real programme the researchers show that he's 20 direct descendants from Richard III and only a few more from William the Conquerer. I wonder if either of them were into whoring at all? Hmm...

  • Brilliant! He's gonna be on the actual programme this week!

  • Woot - this is finally happening for real! It'll be great if this turns out right.

  • he is on it this week

  • When she mentions the 16 year old sister... excellent comedy timing!

  • hysterical!!! And Alexander Armstrong is gong to be in the new series in the UK. I wonder how he kept a straight face!

  • How devastating to find out that everyone in your family is a whore.

No wonder Wills and Harry turned out the way they did.

  • I love how insincerely Armstrong plays it at the start. He just cares about his own pride and how he looks on screen. And then you see him genuinely distraught which is even funnier.

  • The American version of Who Do You Think You Are just started up... I like this one way better. :P

  • hahahah

  • That is hilarious. done a snort laugh it was so funny

  • grandma's a whore, grandad's a pedophile-ouch

  • and he had all these funny phrases...

  • Classic. 5/5

  • This is your mother...and she was a whore.

  • Now age 30 brothel keeper HA!She's moved up into menagment :D

  • who is the actress? It took a few times watching it (because I was laughing too hard) but it strikes me that she looks and sounds like Peneolpe Keith. Daughter? or just co incidence?

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

  • I wonder kind of sweeties that guy has lol

  • "Susan-Elizabeth...who's just 16...whore".

  • Every time she says " whore" it gets funnier!

  • @jedrinck i've never heard a performer say the word 'Whore' any better than here.

  • wow a prostitute grandma and peadophile grandad, ouch!

  • they are taking the piss!! mowiarmstrong

  • ....yes prostitute, call girl.

    Yes, I understand.

  • funny little phrases, lol...don't tell your parents

  • "Kind of moved into managment... as it were...."

    That must burn.

  • This must be every researchers nightmare....LOL

How ever many times I see this, it still makes me laugh.
