• Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video. There are tons of videos about hair straightening, but the people usually doing the tutorial already have straight hair without doing anything (which to someone like me that has very curly hair, is a big **** you to me), but you are the first person that I've seen that actually has curly hair like me. Thank you for showing me how's its actually done. :) I can't wait to try this on Friday. THANK YOU :333

  • My hair is like your but i hate it so im taking the easy way out but an expensive way out by getting the straightening keratin treatment for like $300 lol cant waitt i hate having to straighten my hair its such a hassle and takes a long timeee

  • whats the song in the beginning?

  • omg thank you so much this really is gonna help

my hair is JUST like urz n now i know how to do everything!!

    thank youuuuuu :333

  • wat flat iron is that?

  • Morí,:-Dhe muerto de la risa, pero de igual forma el cabello te quedo regio!!!!!

  • Very common mistake with girls, they let their hair just dry and then they iron.

that damages your hair like crazy, cuz if you have curly hair you'll come to find out it take at least 6 strokes of the iron to get it fully straight.Blow drying makes the ironing part a lot faster.

tip: always apply that oil shine more to the tips than the top of the head that way your tips wont burn too much and you can go on for a few more days with nice hair and not having to constantly wash it cuz its oily.

  • wat kindaof flat iron do u have??

  • u look good curled!

  • you have such pretty curly hair!!! i cant even brush my hair after i get out of the shower without it turning into a frizzball!

  • you hair is straight when its blow dried

  • Yes, yes it is, but I feel that if I don't straighten it with the iron after the blow dry, it will poof up the second I hit the street!

  • o I understand

my hair is like that 2

    lol

  • thanks

  • where did you get your hair dryers from i need one really bad

  • I dont really remember, but stores like wal-mart have hair dryers and straighteners!

  • Don;t get the ones at wal mart, It does serious damage to your hair after a while.

I got a flat iron there and it snaps on and pulls some of my hair out , after one month there were alots of split ends.

The flat iron I use now cost 10 times the price of wal mart but my hair is healthy =D

  • What flat iron do you use now?

  • lol mine straightening iron only takes 5 secs to heat up

  • hahah you look pretty curly or straight honestly

  • It must take ages...

  • ur hair looks beatiful stright

  • you look pirty both ways

  • your hair looks better curly! you dont look pretty with straight hair!

  • wowo it takes ur straightener fifteen minutes to heat up mine only takes about one minute mines a remmington wet to straight

  • really cool. I like your hair when its curled in the ends. just, when you're finished bowdrying. better then straightening <3

  • gawd you are so devoted

    i wish i was more like u

it takes me a hour and a half

to actuallly finish doing ma hair

  • why dont you just straighten it after you blow dry it duh , takes twice as fast...fuck

  • when u blew dried ur hair it went pretty straight!!

  • wat kind of flat iron do u use?

  • Nothing in particular, this one is supposed to be ceramic but it isn't very good, I just don't like to use metal.

  • Your curls are beautiful! And the finished product is great, too! My blow dryer always cuts out on me too!!...Probably because it takes forever to dry my hair. It's so frustrating. I've just started to let my curly hair air dry and just straighten it while it's curly. Less heat, too, fewer split ends. :)

  • Yeah, for a while I used to dry my hair right out of the shower, not only was it bad but it took longer! Lately I have been leaving it curly a lot, I really appreciate I can wear it both ways :) Thanks for the compliments!

  • OMG me too!!! my hair is RLY thick! the blow dryer like burns out like before im half way dont drying it! so im going to get it cut shorter this week to see if its easier to do!!

  • Why not blow dry hair instead of waiting that 1 hour?

  • Well that is precisely what I was doing, waiting so I could blow dry hair! I just wanted to do it right after it was washed, so it lasted longer straight.

  • wow, i actually took time to watch all of it! HAHA. it looked interesting!

  • yes im use tresemme thermal creations heat tamer spray it works great like spray it on befor u stratin it when your hair is dry and it makes it alot eazier my friend told me 2 use it now i cant live without it lol

  • do u use heat protection

if u dont u should its realy

    awesome stuff

  • I don't! Can you recommend any specific brands?

  • Tresemme's good

  • funn:))

  • you have really beautiful hair!

and so much of it! i have really thick hair too... it's pretty, but a lot of work!

  • talk LOUDER!!!!!

  • Awesome video and you do look amazing whether your hair is straight or curly!! Any I was wondering when and how do you use those products (cream, silicone and wax) during the video? Also are those any good? If they are can you tell me the price and the brands? One more thing, Do you apply anything to protect your hair from the heat of the straightener like a thermal protector? If so which brand and whats the price?...

  • Thanks for the compliment! To be honest, my product use is kind of arbitrary, and I change brands all the time. But the stuff I cannot do without is some sort of silky smooth straightening cream (under 5 bucks) that I apply before the straightening (that's what I use to protect my hair), and some silicone stuff for after when Im done (also under 5 I think). I don't use any special thermal protector. Hope this helps!

  • cute video! hahah you look pretty curly or straight honestly=]

  • Thank you!

  • great video :) but i don't like use a flat iron... maybe sometimes ;) cheers :)

  • the bloopers were soo funny!

    great vid as well :)

  • cool..:) make fun to watch it!^^

  • hey how come it took 15 mins for your iron to heat up??

  • It wasn't a great iron, and so if it wasn't really hot it wouldn't really work! So I just waited 15 minutes

  • oh how much was it??

  • About 19 euros

  • what's euros??

  • The currency in Germany and other European countries

  • how often do you straighten your hair???

  • Well, not very often anymore because my boyfriend likes it curly :) But I used to do it 2 to 3 times a month (lasts for about 5 days each time).

  • i straightened my cousins hair in one hour and its really curly. do you straighten ur hair everyday? its a lot of work 4 u.

  • Yeah it's a lot of work indeed! It takes me about the same time, but I don't do it everyday and I wash my hair every other day so it lasts a bit longer!

  • you have really pretty hair but i highly doubt that all of that striaghtening took you only five minutes!

  • You're right! It didnt.. :)

  • wow, you have really pretty hair, curly or straight =]

  • You say from curly to straight in 5 minutes.. But you definitely did longer then 5 minutes about it, did ya =P

BUT it looks really great on you! Thanks for the vid :)!

  • yea she did

  • TRUE

  • What hair products did you use? My speakers are not so clear can you please let me know my hair is like yours I have prican hair wavy and curly. plz respond thanks

  • Well, I change brands all the time but most of the time I use Pantene Silky Smooth cream, which I put on my hair right after I towel dry it and before I let it air dry for an hour. Then I use any form of silicone/anti-frizz/wax stuff after I'm done so it absorbs some of the grease and doesn't poof up. It really depends on your hair, if you have less hair or thinner, the wax might make it look dirty so you have to be careful!

  • i love this clip, you really know what you're doing!! i can't wait to try it your way!

  • BLESS YOU THANKYOU A MILLION THAT HELPS A LOT ,,,my hairs well less curl then urs but so wild and that really gave me a input on how to do it rite

  • Why dont you just get a hair striaghtener

  • note. never straighten ur hair wet. it breaks the hair and ruins it. its one of the worst things you can do, just buy a heat protector for your hair put it in wet and blow dry, OR shower the night before and put ur hair in 2 braids it can either be nice and wavy when you take it out or its still dry and clean and you can straighten it.

  • Agreed

  • I enjoyed your video very entretaining and informative.

  • my hair straightener makes my hair smell bad though...just thought I'd share. "/

  • at 1:39 she reminds me of Vanessa nne hudgens for some reason weird

  • thx for posting this video! my hair is also really curly and i wanted to figure out how to straighten it and your method worked great! i was like WOW it actually works. thanks!

  • You looked fine when it was curly at the bottom.

  • THanks! I like that too :)

Suerte intentandolo :)

  • if you have such a good straightener...why do you blowdry it when its dry already..i have curly hair and when its dry i just straighten it right away and it turns out pretty good..it saves you time

  • I don't have a good straightener! Mine sucks :) Plus the combination of blow drying it and using a bad straightener gives a nice wavy look which I really like sometimes.

  • luv da hair what size brush did u use where did u get it frum whats da name of it???

  • I think it's pretty medium sized, I got it from Walgreens but I don't know its name!

  • ok well i went 2day 2 go get a brush i think it works as good as urs (not sure) but my hair gets very very frizzy win it dries so should i just blow dry it win its wet?? will it still dry straight if my hair is dry and frizzy HELP!!!!

  • love the hair do! you should be a hairdresser

  • Thanks!

  • Hola que tal? soy yo de nuevo:) tengo una pregunta, que tipo de cepillo redondo es bueno para alizar cabello grueso, asi como el tuyo? Y cuales son buenos para cabello delgado? Te agradeceria mucho si me dices, gracias =]

  • Pues la verdad no sabria decirte, para mi cabello siempre he usado un cepillo redondo grande, creo que mientras mas grande mejor. Pero con cabello delgado no tengo nadita de experiencia, sorry! :(

  • any tips on keepin my hair straighter as it is naturally curly n i have lots of layers n hairspray dosent do the trick please x

  • Well usually a good hair straightener does the trick, that's really the only way I've managed to eliminate any sort of little wave on mine. Usually I like the wave though!

  • thnx 4 yoohure help but wavy is nicee x

  • Oh wow, eres Venezolana??! O_o! wow yo soy venezolano!! De pana ese video te quedo bien chevere! vives en Mexico?

  • Si soy venezolana, ahorita vivo en Alemania pero en agosto me mudo a Mexico.. me alegra que te haya gustado el video!

  • 15 minutes to heat up? mine takes like 2. but your hair is beautiful curly or straight! i have short hair *is a guy*, and its anywhere from 7 to 10 inches long(oh yes...) and i can get away with just blowdrying it out. it takes most of the wave out since i had a straight perm to cut through my massive curls!

  • Yeah, I considered perms but I really do like leaving the curls sometimes, so I decided against it in the end :) And yeah, my straightener is not very good, it takes over 10 minutes to actually be hot!

  • Thanks that was helpful! :) I never really learned how to straighten my hair with teh brusha nd blowdryer technique. (I realise taht I was totally doing it wrong now!)

So do you have to have product in your hair to get it that straight? I can tell it definatly helps, but I wondered if you could still get the effect or close with just the flat iron and hairdyer+ brush?

(Sorry for the long question. >.<; It's probably really obvious, but I really don't know!)

    Thankyou!!

  • Hi, using a product helps because it kind of controls the frizz, however there have been times I don't use anything and it works as well. I think the main purpose of the hair products is to protect your hair against the heat, since the hot air and the iron and all that can be stressful for it. So even though you don't really need them, I recommend them for the long-term health of your hair! :)

  • my hair is really thick with no curls got any tips, related to this kind of styling?

I love the results, were you born with natural hair care talents or did you learn them?

  • I think you can do the same with your hair, blow drying is magic! It will probably take you less time too, which is great! And my mom taught me all I know, haha :)

  • what products do you use?

  • Mostly I use standard "straight and silky" or whatever creams (most of the time from Pantene) and any hair anti-frizz product (depending on what I find wherever I live at the moment).

  • okk! thanks, it takes me forever to do my straighten my hair. i've tried doing it many ways but i most just blow dry it straight while its still wet. i have a question, how do you get your curls to look perfect as well? that would be a good video for you to do.

  • lol ur good

  • omg that TAKES FOREVER

  • wow

  • how long did this really take?

  • About 1.5 hours :S

  • OMG thank you so much this is soooo helpful for me! this is so going on my favorites!♥

  • the straight is actually hawt O.O

  • Im jealous, I want your hair!

  • wow. you have beautiful hair!

  • Uhh...that wasn't really 5min but pretty kewll video. It helps alot... my hair is just like yours.:P

    Thanks

  • You caught me!

  • UR SO PRETTY AND UR TECHNIQUE IS GREAT!

    Thanx

  • Thank you!

  • lol your video is funny when your blow dry stop i get that too

  • Yeah it sucks! I just keep it on all the time now..!

  • loved it!! i liked it when it was all flippy!! before you straightend it! I <3 your hair!!

  • Thanks! Sometimes I just leave it like that, or even if I straighten it, the tips curl a little like that, so it's more flippy than straight :)

  • You're so pretty! And so are your natural locks! The straightening process looks very tedious and girl you have to have a lot of patience! :)

  • It iiis very tedious, I only do it when I get inspired, then it isn't as bad :)

  • Wow your hair curls up naturally so beautifully! Your hair also looks fab straight!

  • Thanks for the compliment!

  • thanks

  • you're welcome :)

  • ur sooo pretty man.............i luv ur hair

  • Thanks!

  • this is good....u should do one on how to curl and you eyebrows

  • Hahaha, perhaps I should, thanks for your comment!

  • so when are you gonna do more videos on hair....like the before curly or something like that...

  • Omg! Thank you thank you thank you so much for posting this video!! You have no idea how long i have been searching you tube to find a decent person to show how to straighten hair!

  • I'm glad you find my super long and tedious process useful!! You're very welcome :)

  • Bravissimo!! I can't wait to do it myself now.. I even signed up for a youtube account only because of ur awesome video!! Now... You gotta teach us how to have beautiful eyebrows!! Please!! I beg of u.

    Greetings!!!

    Mia

  • Wow, thanks! I will consider talking about my eyebrows in a video someday :)

  • Thats a really nice video, but why dry your hair with a diffuser? i mean, cant you just wait until it dries and then use a flat iron? my sister uses CHI, 1.5 ceramic iron and it takes her less than 5 min to make her hair straight. The hair driers make your hair look like a puddle's hair, and also gets dry and frizzy. The CHI iron makes it silky, smooth, straight, with no frizz at all and takes away all the volume. But still, i like your video :D

  • Thanks a lot, tips and improvements to my system are always welcome! :) I've straightened my hair with real good straighteners in the past and yeah, it's extremely fast and really really straight, but I consider that a totally different style. When I do it this way, after a bit some of my ends start to curl, and I like that sometimes! One day when I can actually afford a good straightener, I'm sure I will stop spending so much time using a dryer.. Thanks for your comment though!

  • OH you're so welcome! you should upload more videos, but how to curl hair or something! :D

  • eheh nice vid, you're pretty and i love your hair! the bloopers in the end are cool, made me laugh:D

  • Thanks! Glad I made you laugh :)

  • Your like really pretty!!!

And you look nice with both straight and curly hair!

  • Thank you!

  • i liked the bloopers lol =]

  • Haha, thanks, they always crack me up :)

  • You would be saving yourself a whole lot of time if you just bought a decent flat iron. The one you have is crap. I know cause I use to own the same one and it never straigtened my hair. The HAI flat iron is in my opinion the best. I run it through my hair in like 3 minutes and it's straight as a board.

  • Yeah, you are totally right, I've done this with better flat irons and it does end up extremely straight, but I kind of like the wave in it from the blow dryer, and never really liked the way it looked when it was really really straight. But thanks for the tip, I'll look into it!

  • My hairs as curly as yours but if i even attempt to blow dry it..it goes from curly to a huggggggge frizz ball

  • That happens to me usually when I don't blow dry long enough. What I do is go at each piece of hair with the round brush and the hairdryer until it is completely frizzless, and of course, all the anti-frizz products do help! :)

  • your really pretty :O

  • Thanks!

  • hehe cool vid. you look pretty with curly hair. actually, you look good curly or straight!

what products do you use here? i only use a heat protector and rarely use a frizz serum as my hair is oily.

  • Well, I use Pantene's silky and smooth cream, frizz serum and silicone, and hair wax.

I put the silky smooth stuff, the serum and sometimes even the silicone in my hair before it dries, then straighten. The after I'm done, just a little of silicone and wax.

  • my hair's not quite that curly, but I do the same type of routine lol

  • Haha, yep, no other way seems to work for me!
