sounds great, theres just alot of "air" in the solo....the notes dont run into each other correctly....try filling the gap with some vibrato, or slides to the next or previous notes....just feel it and all else will follow!! great riff ideas, keep the awesome vids comming!

Usually I dont like shred songs but in this case the musicianship is excellent. I really enjoyed how both of you only used shred as an accent to bring out the next phrase iin the solo and how smoothly it was performed.

I actually have taken a few music classes, and I plan on studying further once I can.

I do realize the difference, but I guess there's no way to prove that by just talking... the only videos I have posted don't fully represent the majority of the songs I actually write.

Also, I'd say creating a good recording is relevant... to my interests anyway. Mixing could be considered an art. It's something I'm trying to learn.

Although, you're right it is separate from the composing process.

Does that even matter? It's used in metal. A lot of metal, even early stuff. Its not a bad progression... yes, simple, but works for a song like this, where simple is what we were going for. We intended to have well thought-out solos over a simple progression.

One last thing... before you flame our video, learn to actually play, record, and mix a decent sounding song, then come talk to me "kiddie."
