Hard to believe these movies were rated G.. and they were quite violent for thier time.. today they would be rated PG or Rated and in 3-D

pretty Epic :D

I saw the first movie when i was little, and saw all the sequels on a box set like 10 years later, Beneath was pretty epic, larger in scope than the first. But they made a franchise out of a movie that was only designed to work once. Beneath just goes peanut banana sandwhich crazy excessive by the end. I will give it credit for topping the last one, but the first is a classic, and the second hits home the heart wrenching point about nuclear war.

this movie was on a low bugit compared to the first, this was partly due to the high figure Heston insisted on his cameo as he didn`t really want to do it, so everything else was done on the cheap! but it`s still a fun movie and the bugit doesn`t really let it down, and proved a box office hit.

i still can`t accept the new movies as the "real" ape movies!!
