michael, it is clear that you loved your gorgeous, precious, beautiful child so much and he loved you too, it is clear he felt safe in your arms and then a little unsure when the lady was talking to him, why on earth did they not let this child stay with you, i am a child professional and a mother of 3 children, one of similar age, it's an absolute tragedy what happened to your son, did the evil foster mother or the people responsibe for making the descisions get prosecuted? xx

Everyone is so vague on how Luke died. It was our once a week visit. I had travelled 4 hours for the visit and four hours back every week for a couple of months, and had never once been late, or missed a visit. Luke was all I lived for, and everyone could see it. One visit supervisor went back to the child safety office after the visit and demanded my child be returned to me, I was an outstanding father who loved his son amazingly so. I'm sorry :( Your story is evidence of how terrible the "child care" system has become. Maybe your struggles can be used to help others with the same circumstances.

After each of these visits, Luke would be driven off in the back of a DoCS car, and I would fall to the ground and cry.

This is my favourite video of me and Luke. I loved holding him and hugging him more than anything I have known in my entire life. The way he ran to me for comfort, and how much we loved each other, I feel his love beyond death. He is with me all the time.
