How do you make your free kicks dip like that? (I.E Ronaldo v Portsmouth), I pretty much always score them by going round the wall or hitting it low but those dipping ones you do are amazing, awesome vid!

Eeverytime When I take a freekick I Get it over the wall but It wont bend dont It just goes over the crossbar... Plus I hold Left analog Stick Up!

You're holding the stick up. Thats the problem.

For right handers(Flip for lefties..)

9 o clock= maximum bend, but the ball is a floater most of the time because you also use about a notch less power when using holding it at 9 o clock.

10-11 o clock=Combination of Bend/Dip. The closer to 11, the more dip, and vice versa. The more dip, the more power you have to use(about 35-40%). Because of this, the pace is higher, and more likely to get by a goalkeeper.

for the range my freekicks are at.....

For maximum bend(left stick at 9oclock), power needs to be around 25% to curl the wall and into the corner

For a bend/dip(left stick at 10-11 o clock), power around 30-35% to get up and over

For straight dip, power at 35-40%

im disappointed, the title says TOP 10 FK:s, you have a 4,5 rating and seem to be good. Then you shoot 9 exactly the same FK:s and only one various one when you hit a rocket into the keeper-edge.

lol. Does it matter? All of Nakamuras freekicks are the same. All of CR7s and Beckhams freekicks look the same.

And yes i do know how to score driven shots, hence the Gerrard one lol. And yes I have 3 types of freekick styles in this, you just cant see it. Van persie, nakamura, and beckhams were using curl, while most of the rest were using the dipping, CR7 style of freekick. Post a video of you hitting one from 30+yards out on world class against a quality goalie.

For the closer ones like Nakamura, Beckham and Van Persie, I used a dipping curl. Gerrards was a hard free kick and the first five were used by a dipping technique that I figured out while experimenting in the arena.

For the dipping curl, hold the stick at about 10-11 o clock.

I won't tell you my method of free kicking, youre going to have to figure out which spin method to use.

However, as far as the power meter goes, if its around the distance of the first few kicks I took, then the meter should be filled about 30-40%. If its the distance of the #3 2 and 1 kicks, about 40-45%(1 notch more than the closer ones). Never should the bar be filled halfway or more.

Freekicks in fifa08 are overrated. Once you get the system down theyre not bad at all. Theyre less consistent then fifa 07 where you could make them everytime, but I make roughly 40-60% of them.
