Soap & water DOES NOT remove Poison Ivy oil!! It spreads it! REcommending this "If however you do not have the other towelettes" can cause serious pain & suffering=not wise LADIES!!! I am speaking from experience-Tecnu Ivy works to cut the oil- but you MUST not touch the effected areas if at all possible until the body works itself through the healing process because it can continue to spread once the skin is broken!!!
antihistamine, you mean like the ones that are only good for blocking the histamine receptors in your nasal cavity to reduce congestion? or did you mean the anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, ect.
those towelettes are not effective once the rash has appeared. Once the rash has appeared, the towelettes would not work at all. The towelettes are NOT designed to relieve itching, but to remove the urushiol oils of poison ivy and oak, off the skin, minutes after you suspected contact with the plant. The most effective brand for relieving itching while removing the oils is Tecnu Poison Ivy Cleanser. You can get it at REI.
oh and I'm pretty sure poison ivy isn't that deathly looking ... i mean maybe in rare cases but that looked like a 3rd degree burn that was bit by a rattle snake and then rubbed in nettles
well i like am not alergic almost at all 2 poison ivyy. but since posin ivy rubbed on a swollen deep cut i had, well lets just say my leg looks pretty much lik this girls arm but more and worse.
@maldek5 actually, if you google 'skin rash hall of fame' and click on the very first link, you will see posion ivy rashes that make the one in this video look like a little bug bite.
You sound like robots. Try speaking from your brain, not like you memorized a script. I don't see why your making these vids if it's not firsthand common knowledge to you as is, and should be easy to just simply talk about....
Good info but uhhh.... yeah, just be yourself come on i would have liked it 100x more and maybe taken it serious
I've never had Poison oak until now... It's been 3 weeks now, just two areas in my lower leg. it is not bubbling like girl in the video. just red, tiny little bumps. My question is for those who've had it before, at what point do i say "i need to go to the doctor" - at this point i don't feel anything serious, the itch is not unbearable. Although i feel fine, i want to make sure that there isn't something else that i need to keep an eye out for.read stuff online, but experiences are better. thx
so what happens when its in your bloodstream?Oh get a shower wand and spray it with scalding hot water, this will make the itch go away for an 8 hour rest, and you will experience the greatest "ah" relief in your lifetime.Histimine is relaesed in your stomach, from folic acid /niacin.Its like having sex with your soul. Its like the sound a hooker makes when she fakes o,but for you it will be real, and it will be you.True love can cause blindness, but you wont care. You could even die,but you wont care

Our chief medical director said you won't get poison ivy unless you're allergic to it.
It didn't make sense to me, but I don't argue w/ doctors even when I disagree w/ them.
