I remember reading a magazine article on this, and other games based on malibu comics, I guess the must have gone under, although if memory serves me right, they were incorporated into marvel throught the ultraverse or something like that
Yeah, I worked there (Malibu Games in the UK). We went under at the end of 1994, shortly after Marvel bought the Malibu company in the US. We were working on a bunch of comic licenses - they all got canned, apart from Prime on the MegaCD, which dribbled out in the US to resounding apathy :)
Why not get the source code to this game, talk with Marvel (since they now own the Ultraverse, Malibu, Image and a few other formerly independent comic licenses now), and get this remade on the Nintendo DS, joneggleton? Surely you could get your old staffers together and remake this now, can you not? As for a studio to help you, my suggestions would be Capcom, Activision, or Konami since they made some pretty good comic book video games in the past.
