Well I don't know Cormican but I can say it sounds like history does repeat itself. I remember watching Richie Collins - Christian Fletcher -and thinking they surfed so well. They can both probably laugh about it now knowing that they were young & total knuckleheads. Bottom line - it's a small part of our culture all too often encouraged over a true Aloha spirit - but then again that spirit only come with maturity if ever.

What would that denominator be anyway? Why would you want New Smyrna to be known as the most consistent spot anyway? So more people show up? Look Mike, its like this. You have my respect as far as what you do with the videos for lost. I think they are the most inovative and revolutionary productions out there. As far as Im concerned, they blow Taylor Steeles garbage out of the water. But your wrong about "Gorkin". I dont have anything personal against the guy. I burn occasionally also, but I dont surf the inlet with big weed leaves airbrushed on the bottom of my board.
