It's not about winning or losing, but about exploring the arts in a practical situation. but for some reason i cant find a wing chun school willing to do that.

(reading is the thing you do with the squilies on paper.) Seriously, both of you need to get some education, it will help you a lot more than martial arts.

@brooklynmonk1 I have two advanced degrees, beyond my BA and three black belts, but it is the formal education, the ability to read, write and speak in multiple languages that allows me to travel around the world, make these shows, study martial arts and write books. Please get some formal education. If you can't afford school, then just read on your own. Challenge yourself to read one book per week. That is what I have done since age 9.

If you use poor grammar and broken English to make your point, then you come across as a retard and will not convince anyone. As for Muay Thai, it is the single most used striking art on the planet for combat sports. I don't see how you could fight without it. If you are so down on Muay Thai, then please tell me which striking art you use more effectively in your professional fighting career.

Respond to this video...I was going to challenge you to come to Bangkok and try Chaiya for yourself, but you probably can't afford the plane ticket and if you've done time, you can't get a visa. I became a writer and video guy to explore the different kinds of lives and choices people make for themselves. I have been all over the world, studying and writing, but you baffle me. Why would you choose such a life for yourself?

they do use offence as a defence, the elbows used in defence are very painful, they are offensive defensive techniques. Chaiya is a great form!!! this is a great vid!!

Khmer martial is older then Siam So call Muy Thai. MuyThai itself came from Khmer martial, and it a fact. How do I know it a fact, will if people visit Angkor Wat you can see the martial of Khmer was used in the combat .
