Cubase 4 DOES NOT SUPPORT DIRECT X thats why it wont show up for most of us and that SUCKS ! They did not tell me that when i bought this SHIT !

yeah do it manually.. go to my computer.. then program files.. etc.. You should end up on cubase plugin folder.. then just copy the plugin in the Plugin folder..

yeah so just go to cubase folder and copy autotune. dll file and then go to cubase and hit the update plugin button.. give that a try.

@HoLLyHooDWuSGuD i had the same stuff Holly. Just click on vst 2x and then you can see the different ones already installed. choose add and reach the dll file. Then it will works. ( got the same stuff like you )

my bad .. g when you install auto-tune make sure you are installed the dpm version, just install all version to make sure..

it should automatically install on your pro tools if not go search

for the file and take it to pro tools directory you should have your autotunes.dpm file

inside your plug in folder...

yep im sure. And I found a solution lol. To everyone who has this problem occur, restart cubase(close then reopen) then try adding another duplicate location. Then check your fx(effects) if you dont find it in the main root, look in the "earlier vst plug-ins" section it should come up as autotune evo :). It worked for me, hope it will for you too. And thanks noise59. This pointed me in the right direction

Hey I did this and had autotune working fine for about a day, and then I went back on and tried it the day after, and it wouldn't work. I tried re-installing it, putting the file in all different places, it hasn't worked since that first day I downloaded it and it is getting really frustrating. Do you have any idea what the problem is? I'm using Cubase LE 4, running on Vista.

i think people dont know that they have to have a vocal track recorded already .then u can open it. it doesnt work in real time like a vsti doest.atleast it dont on mine cubase sx

I went through the steps..... found the program with Cubase.... BUT!!! It didn't show up in any of my effects, not even the window that shows your effects that you can use where you were searching for it

when u install autotune you gotta check where it gets installed.. there is gonna be a little button that says browse.. thats where it tells you where its gonna install.. it doesnt always install in the right place.. try doing the intsaltion again and check where the File is going to be placed, then you will know where the file is at..

before you finish the instalation of autotune you gotta make suere the vst file gets installed in the right location.. it probably just got installed somewhere else.. so go and reinstall te autotune there us gonna be a button that says browse thats where you will know where its gonna be installed.. to make it easier create a folder in your desktop . name it Vst effects or what ever. when in the process of instalation click the browse button and install it in your desktop. then fallow these step
