  • Just like every song has a memory , or a feeling , this song really brings me back ..(LOVE IT )

  • Saw this group live in Birmingham Alabama in 1968.

  • The pure sound of the 60s , sublime and sheer purity

  • Great late 60s gem. #3 Adult Contemporary, #18 Pop.

  • Good tune...RCA records from the days of 45's for what, 98cents maybe 89 cents at the discount store...

  • TenStarsplus!!! OMG!!! I haven't heard this in ages!!! I was a biker listening to this on a transistor radio in 1968 when it came out!!! I was 25 years old and knew everything about life then!!! Yeah right!!! I'm 68 now and still don't know everything yet!!! You young people better wise up because it was just a short time ago I was young too!!! Time flies really fast!!! Thanks for posting one of my faves!!! Stephen. Now I think this big tough ol' guy will have a good cry!!!

  • My Dad, God rest his soul used to call me Master Jack when I was a little boy... now I'm 60 yrs. old and can still hear his voice calling me... Really Miss Ya' Pop...............

  • I well remember when this one and Angel Of The Morning were hot in '68. Tough year, for sure. Thanks for the memories.

  • "Clean, sucked-dry instrumentalization"? This seems to be an exact quote from the book, "One-Hit Wonders." Despite the plagerazation, the author is correct in his gratitude for the upload of this under-rated classic.

  • Great song.

    I love it.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • To think that my mother once had these same people over at her house and served them tomato sandwiches once. Four Jacks and a Jill, one of the best music groups to ever come out of Africa if you ask me.

  • The rhythm and her voice are in perfect harmony

  • An excelllent example of how a Musicians Lyrics can sometimes dig deeper than the an Artists Brush..............

  • Haunting melody, cryptic lyrics and clean, sucked-dry instrumentalization make this one of the more unusual and mystical singles of the 1960s. Also one of my favolrite songs of all-time. Thanks for the upload.

  • A great song!
