  • That is a very elegant design, and since you are working at very low compression ratios the power piston wouldn't have to travel very far, this would make the rolling diaphragm last a lot longer. Good design!

  • You could even add a rolling diaphragm to the power piston to shield around the connecting rod arm of the displacer piston for a fully contained and sealed working environment. This can lead to allowing different gasses at different pressure inside the engine, thus boosting efficiency.
