So cool and yet so risky to use. A huge target that carries so much that it takes a moment to offload whatever is onboard. And it's a hovercraft, the vitals are far more sensitive to damage than a regular landing craft.

But whatever, it'd be different if russia had more than just a handful. Build thirty and you'd be good.

That Zubr class actually has an armored hull, and is better equipped to fight planes and the ordinary landing targets (Like bunkers and infantry and tanks) than other ships. It's got rockets a plenty and even mine laying equipment! Meaning you'll lose as few as possible to that dug in enemy.

Of course any naval invasion needs other ships to support it's attempts, and the russian navy is a pitiful rusted hulk now. Plus a previously owned aircraft carrier lol.

@peepeevagi yep. in a battlefield....PLAN for the worst and Hope for the best. u need some airborne to take out the Arty covering the beach head too. 50% dmg or lost is normal. and attackers should be 3 times the defenders to have enough numbers to lose abt 40% to 50% and meet their objectives. i dun really know abt the amour on these hovercraft but when heavy 155mm or rocket arty comes down most things get blown up.
