i 4got that this was originally Elton john's. It sounds like your own music, listening 2 Elton's was just grand and will definitely reduce u 2 tears (depends on what the song meant to you, of course) and that's why your version is unique because you gave it a new "sound" while staying true to the original meaning of the song, if I wanted to drown on my sorrows and drink bourbon, I'd definitely pull Elton's version but If I wanted to be happy and feel good this one, your version is definitely it!
