It's Been 3 years since Patrick Swayze (r.i.p) kicked the bucket. I just loved seening him in the movies, "Tall Tale", "Ghost", "Dirty Dancing", "Fatherhood", and also when he did a voice of a dog in the movie, "The Fox and the Hound 2".

This was such a great tribute. I cried watching it when they aired it.. Patrick was my biggest ever movie crush and my favorite actor. I loved him best in North and South. He showed the perfect combination of strength, passion, and sensitivity in that mini-series. And those qualities marked his entire career. Two years later, he is still missed!

great tribute:) but the one & only final Dirty Dancing dance can never be topped Jennifer may not be a PRO but she had that amazing innocence & sensuality in her character as Baby Houuseman that was nurtured by the more mature Johnny Castle both in their dance performance & as a couple in love.They both made their character so real! They have won millions of hearts regardless of age.more power to Jen & Patrick.

this actually almost made me cry. that said, i think the way they did the dances just underlined the awesomeness of the orginal dances from the movie. when you compare the girl's 'time of my life' part with jennifer's in the movie, you can see a natural beauty and simpleness jennifer was able to do that this girl wasnt. it was way too theatrical here. same goes with the others. there was nothing 'dirty' about it. it was very neat latin to dirty dancing music
This sucks! I hated it. Especially the lift. I think they should have practiced more. I felt like it was lacking emotion. I felt like they were just doing the choreography and not actually getting into it.

Video posts of interviews with them in the 80's after Red Dawn going into their new film together Dirty Dancing & more vids on the DD all star cast done in the 90's & early 2000 clearly show they had a great working relationship, & remained friends after.

And, it was that movie they knew about each other better and talked more and became friends ever since.

This couple I know fell in love because of the dirty dancing final, they had to dance it their senior year and they fell in love. Also Patrick insirped (sorry for the poor spelling) to dance and she named her first son, Patrick. She cried when he died. We love you, Patrick.

Awwww, that was great! I so did not see this. I wonder why they didn't have the woman duet with the taped version of Swayze's voice. That would have been the cherry on top.

I feel sad for Jennifer because whenever she dances, she thinks about Patrick and she cries... and she was about to dance a song that they danced in Dirty Dancing and she cried real bad.

I think this was great but I think they missed a real important song,yes he was about the music and dancing but always got the girl and anyone who truley watched his movies knew everyone of them in sex scene always played 'These Arms of Mine' form Otis Redding. That would be a great ending to his tribute.what an incredible sexy and talented man.His entertainment will truley be missed.

Wow I'm crying because that was such an amazing tribute! I still can not believe that Patrick Swayze is actually gone. He was such a wonderful actor and dancer!

it gave me goose bumps!! But i think if they were going to recreate The Time of my Life, they should have used Jennifer Grey do it...it would have made it more sentamental. RIP Patrick Swayze <3

This couple I know fell in love because of the dirty dancing final, they had to dance it their senior year and they fell in love. Also Patrick insirped (sorry for the poor spelling) to dance and she named her first son, Patrick. She cried when he died. We love you, Patrick.

@omibbgangland I feel the same way about what you said there Brother. I told alot of evil Bastards out there that people Like Patrick Swayze, Michael Jackson, Dennis Hopper & John Hughes and the many other souls shouldn't have gone but them.
At least these people gave something for us to remember by not to mention what they did for charity and the needy. Where as these cut-throat shits can only steal and cause pain and misery on others.

It's a nice tribute, but the first dance didn't fit the music. they were too fast-paced. I think a slow dance would have been a better choice for it.

tony totally caputured the essence of patrick in "i had the time of my life"....i hate how everyone is doing michael jackson tributes but no one does anything for patrick swayze...even my dance studio is doing a michael jackson tribute but they arent doing one for patrick
