These lights are large, expensive and not so easy to use on location, however once I used one I've taken it everywhere. I can light large machinery so easily with this light over having to use 4-6 soft boxes or smaller umbrellas.There are certainly some challenges to taking them on location, but for me they are worth it. Before you knock it, try it.
You know these guitar jams where there is about 20 guitarists on stage at once and it sounds like a cluster fuck of sounds.....this video reminds me of that.
Going to have to agree with all the others. This video is pointless. "Hey look how huge this thing is. Impressive, right? Here we show photos of people taking photos using this. I bet you'd like to see the actual results when using this thing, huh? TOO BAD. But hey, buy it because it's HUGE!"
What was that? You mention several times that you did a shoot... you mention the make of the equipment... but zero information on what you did and how you did it.
excellent video! thanks for sharing. I guess using that parabolic box must be a nightmare outdoors in a windy day, however it looks pretty stable.
