I can understand James` decline in his voice beacuse of the injuries to his vocal chords back in the early 90`s and age... but I just can`t stand the fact that Lars can`t keep up with his own songs... and age have nothing to do with it.. otherwise go watch Cahrlie Benante, Dave Lombardo... and all of those comtemporary drummers of Lars. There are times when you can actually see Lars screw up eve the most basic drum fills...

They totally skipped that part at 4:30 and went straight to the chorus, if you listen to the 1989 version of them live, after kirk is done with the fire solo it goes into the starting riff and then james goes into the chorus. Man, Metallica doesn't have as much love for their music anymore, they just play a crappy version and a messed up solo and some skipped parts and call it a day. They don't rock out as much as they did

As for everyone's complaints about the solo being cut short, it's not because he's lazy or can't play the solo ( the part of the solo they skip is not a difficult piece ), it's probably because they have so many super long songs that in order to fit them into the set list they have to cut some corners here and there.
