  • Lool c'est marrant et vrai j'adore la façon dont il dit j'ai le jeu

  • Cause I got game bitches lolololol

  • Je de code Blue

  • @davidfregoli What ?

  • @davidfregoli joey tribbiani ? :P

  • @jeansoh03 you really got me!

  • @davidfregoli haha :D

  • It sounds better in english, but a french wouldn't say that.

  • Hey an article in the Bro Code sais that a Bro may never speak French o_O

  • @Sportsfanno1 Remember that Barney always has an exception : "...unless she's hot." So, if a girl is hot... its allowed. :D

  • Im going to say this in french class and see if the teacher notices

  • @Ashbudash360

if you say : "ét gueule t'inwane"

    (it's a Belgian expression)

It's mean : shut up you lie (but more vulgar)

You can be sure that she never understand

  • lol it sounds so lame, a french would never say that.

  • I boned your girlfriend last night why , 私は、ゲーム、愚痴を得たので、

    True Story.

  • That awkward moment when you see the guy behind barney in a self-pleasure moment.

  • @KakaRibeiroGMR True Story =D

  • its sad that in the real life he is a pillow biter

  • TRIPLE QUOTATION MARK AT 6

  • 9GAG im here

    9gag btw

  • 9GAGERS WILL LIKE IT! 139%

  • If you keep spamming '8', it looks like there's a guy in the background fapping.

  • 9GAG, Anyone?

  • 9gag

  • Like if youre here because of 9gag!

  • 9gag

  • The translation is not even right. Nobody says things like. We'd say in french : "Parce que j'ai du game, bitches!" Its better like that. Otherwise it sounds lame.

  • @PurK1Fry Despite your sentance sounds a lil' better, it's still not something a french would say and it sounds as "lame" as the original (except if you're canadian)... "Parce que j'ai la classe" would sounds more natural and even if it does not mean the exact same thing, it would fit a lotta better. A translation ALWAYS needs some adaptation for make it looks / sounds more natural.

  • @soyel94 Do you speak french? Well in french we say "parce que j'ai DE la classe".

In french we use a lot of english idiomatic expressions. Thats what young people could say to their friend only if you know the meaning of these words otherwise I'd not translate like that.

  • @PurK1Fry Of course I do speak french ... I am. That's true that we do use often english expressions but we do not use them randomly unless you want to look / sound like a jerk. "j'ai de la classe / j'ai la classe / je suis trop classe" is totally correct, your version is a bit more formal. The aim of a translation is to keep the meaning but like I said earlier you can not do that by just translating words by words nor by keeping original words.

  • @PurK1Fry We try to keep the whole idea of the sentance while changing the content to fit more to the targeted language. That's the way to translate things sadly. Like i use to say: traduction = trahison.

PEACE (mais pas sur moi) !

  • le jeu! -.-'

  • Press 3,4,3,4 ... :D

  • it says mes chiennes. in other words my woman dogs :D

  • You can hit Barney... press 2

  • Actually it doesn't mean anything in french

  • @astoc I guess you are wrong. If you type it into a translater it exactly says this "I got game" stuff. ;)

  • @Fred2303 I'm french =D

  • @astoc Okay, you win! I mean, I live in France, but my French isn't that good. I thought it could make sense if you translate it word by word and when the translater said the right stuff, I thought it must work. Obviously I was wrong. Sorry. :)

  • If you press 7 lots of times fast, it looks like Barney tries to chew the air.

  • press 9 + 8 and you get the motto to live of Neil Patrick Harris!

  • Comment removed

  • keep pressing eight for 'bitches'

  • lol or 5 and 8. translation bitches

  • Least he didn't violated Article 93. Bros don't speak French to each other.

  • Einmal im Leben mit Barney in den Ausgang gehen.......

  • Press 6 until "Cause i got...." Then instantly press 8 so its "Bitches"

when you put them up together its "Cause i got Bitches"

  • @innertransporter i tryd it, but i heard "cause i got gay bitches"

  • @innertransporter

Try pressing 4 and then press 8. "Translation : Bitches"

  • @innertransporter No. Its 7 and 9!

  • @innertransporter

    No, no!

  • @innertransporter and if you wait on more half of a second, when we dont completely say "game" he will say "Cause i got gay bitches"

  • @AkkouHD trollolololol!

  • @innertransporter You no SAY !?

  • @innertransporter YOU DON'T SAY?!

  • @innertransporter You don't say...

  • @innertransporter YOU DON'T SAY?

  • @innertransporter

    Don't you say...?

    wait... what?

  • @innertransporter YOU DON'T SAY?

  • @garcuecas If you look at the date of the 9gag post and that one you see that this is comment is actually the original

  • @innertransporter even better, wait for it to say "cause I got gay" and then press 8!

    it's gay bitches loawl

  • Barney look like a deutsh when he speak french looool

  • I LOVE Barney but we seriously never ever ever ever ever say that. Ahahaha but now we will. :')

  • 6and8 i got bitches xDxD

  • press 8 bitches

  • 0:09

  • 'Cause I got game, bitches.

  • hahah, I love that they translated bitches, as "mes chiennes". Like a bitch = female dog.

  • The comments consist of: 45% failing to quote Barney, 35% kiddies with terrible orthography, 10% other kiddies using quotes mixed with feck-ugly smilies, 9% "thumbs up if.." and 1% - serious, productive comments, giving me a good feeling.

I do thank god everyday for the 1%, better than nothing.

  • Press 8 for tons of b!tches

  • "Cause I got game, bitches!" --FTW! XD

  • it`s better than: in your face B***h :D but i think Barneys sentence means the same

  • which episode?

  • which episode is this in? :)

  • There should have been greater/louder applause for that. Like, Ted and Marshall should have needed to pause while people finished up cheering.

  • A tous ceux qui chipotent quant à la traduction : Depuis quand on traduit de façon LITTÉRALE de l'anglais au français...?

    La traduction est bonne.

  • he broke a code!

Article 93: Never speak french with another Bro.

  • @Hovo4rmla818 actually there is an exception if he reminds his bros about how much games hes got.

i dont remember where i read it. just checked the code, its not in there. maybe in his blog.

  • @Hovo4rmla818

I was gonna say, it's against the code.

  • @Hovo4rmla818 Unless it's to tell another bro how much game you've got ;D

  • @Hovo4rmla818 was Ted single in that episode ? cos if he was then he couldnt be his bro

  • @Hovo4rmla818

    LAWYERED !!

  • @Hovo4rmla818 ...unless it's about hhow much game you've got.. no kiddin!!! :)

  • @Hovo4rmla818 French ppl are screwed by this

  • @BeeTraX4231 no it's reversed lol

  • @Hovo4rmla818 You just broke Article 4!

NOTE: If you are a woman that have read it, first let us apologize: it was never our intention for that book to contain so much math. We urge you to look at this document for what it is a piece of fiction meant to entertain an audience through the prism of stereotypical gender differences. Sometimes it really is like we're from different planets! No real person would actually believe or adhere to the rules contained within. Those boots are adorable, *wink*

  • It's funny because you could say bitch in any french speaking country and they'd understand. And the way he said it in french just isn't right. AWESOME!!!!

  • i fucking understood that.... brothers really know how to teach fucking languages

  • Comment removed

  • directe translation: I have the game, dogs.

  • @InCognitoHollywood actually the real translation is: because i play my bitches

  • @chaelavandongen Not quite. the translation is "because i have the game, my dogs" Dont rely on Google translate.

  • I'm french and I don't really understand what he wanted to say but...that's really funny to hear an american actor speaking french ! :p

Oh, and what means "I've got game bitches", btw ? ^^'

  • @RinokenWright It kinda means that he knows what he's doing and that he's a ladies man :)

  • Comment removed

  • French is so cute, @ffraize ;)

  • It's so cute when he speaks French :)

  • let's say Barney just went on google translation to translate this english idiom and he just doesn't speak french at all, but hey it's Barney, the best liar ever, and anyways no one at the table understands french so ...whatever, it's not about grammar here :) GO BARNEY !!

  • It. Was an idiom.

    It doesn't translate anyway.

If I walked around saying "He made a rabbit of me!" it wouldn't mean anything. We'd say "Oh, what a horrible translation," and yet, that would be precisely what is meant.

Sure he could have said "I have *some* game," but he doesn't. He has *all* the game. And how do we signify a universal concept? "Le," not the partitive.

  • press 8......kkkkkkkkk bitches bitches

  • Who cares if the translation was perfect or not ?? French people are always trying to correct someone or to force you how to pronounce their words correctly when THEY can't even pronounce english words correctly!!When they talk it's like if they were about to vomit or something , Neil Patrick did his best , you don't have to fight over this.Eh oui les français! toujours là à corriger les autres quand vous même,n'arrivez même pas à parler l'anglais ou une langue autre que la vôtre correctement!

  • @Mog5200 cliché...

  • mes chiennes?? quelle traduction de merde xD

  • Bad translation, awesome comment. But maybe the bad translation was done purposely? Barney doesn't seem like the type of character who would know proper french grammar, after all.

  • I lost the game.

  • the real traduction is : "Je gere , les meufs !" or " je gere , mes chiennes"

  • Hey guys come to my channel ... Barney Stinson videos ... and also a lot of NPH videos ...

  • Lol the subtitles are french XD

  • @MrCookiemafia of course it is!the holy bro-co!

  • barney the dinosaur is in related... lol!!

  • The right traduction would've been "Parce que j'ai du jeu, mes salopes"

  • @Igosuki

    +1

  • This is just LEGEN - wait for it - DARY ! =D

  • I like how there were French subtitles...for the French words....

  • @ErikMogan stole mah comment bitch!!!

  • @ErikMogan well he translates it...it would not make sense if they would write it twice in english

  • Barney said ' Namaste' in one of the episodes! XD

  • Putain les mecs c'est "How i Met your mother" on s'en fou de comment est tournée la phrase, la syntaxe ou je ne sais quoi encore!! Barney est juste énorme!!

Translation: Guys it's "How i met your mother" we don't care about the french grammar in here!! Barney is just awesome!!

    Peace.

  • @hailmaryrunquicksee putain means something different than guys........

  • @7xToxicShock Je sais j'ai enlevé le putain c'est tout. Le putain est pour les français qui font chier pour la syntaxe ;)

  • French is not an worthy language to speak...

  • @Revolvee ;)

*smell the jealousy in the air*

  • @Revolvee That's maybe why US girls and NYC girls in particular loves French accent.

    Peace.

  • @Revolvee Le Français était jusqu'à la Première Guerre Mondiale la langue internationale et dans quelque année, il y aura plus de francophone notamment grâce à l' Afrique et au Québec que d'Anglophone donc va te faire.

The French until the First World War was the official language and in some years there will be more people who speak French thanks to the Africans, who speaks only English. So shut up

Ps:Le Français est une langue magnifique que tu ne pourras jamais comprendre vu ton ignorance

  • @ZteBlade83 In your untranslated part, are you trying to say that there WILL be more Francophones than Anglophones in Quebec in the future? That's always been the case and no one would suggest otherwise, at least there doesn't seem to be any threat of there being more Anglophones in our lifetimes.

  • yes it makes sense in french i am frecnh it is not french you learn at school but it works

  • @Bmomo56 except nobody says "j'ai le jeu", it doesn't mean anything in french.

  • @mespursongles yes indeed j'ai le jeu means i ahave got the game but like i have got gta

  • @Bmomo56 Wouldn't "j'ai le jeu" mean "I have THE game"?

  • @hannahthehiccup "the game" is not like "le jeu" because "le jeu" means games like video games or stuff like that

  • @Bmomo56 Exactly. So like, "I have THE game", or "I have THE video game." Same thing.

  • Ceci sera LÉGEN...attendez...DAIRE! (translation: this will be LEGEN...wait for it...DARY!)

And BTW the proper way to say it would be "parce que je possède du jeu, chiennes!"

  • @morteza286 Actually after "why?"(=Pourquoi) you must use "par ce que" and not "comme". Because you answer to a question, only in that case you have to use "Par ce que". You are not totally wrong.

  • haha it makes no fucking sense in French, but I love him anyway

  • parcekeeeeee...loll

  • If I knew french, my comment here would have been "Lengen, wait for it, dary."

  • when you want to begin a sentence in french with because you have to use

"comme " and not "parce que" :D :D

  • @morteza286 False, u can start ur sentence with "Parce que" in French ...

  • @alexisbibico no you cant it wont mean because

  • @morteza286 Lol c'est pas comme si j'étais Français, tu ne vas pas m'apprendre à parler ma langue quand même ? Si je te dis que tu peux commencer ta phrase par "parce que" c'est que c'est vrai gros malin !

So, one other time : u can do it in french ...

  • @alexisbibico i have just learned in the school if you want to start a sentence with because in french you shall use come and not parce que

but i thnik if you are french you shall know it better than me

  • @morteza286 I have to tell you that u had a bad French teacher, because actually i'm french and i tell u that u can start a sentence with "parce que" in French ... ;)

Amicalement.

  • @mrlegion21 The fuck?

Way to kill the joy, si tu veux... '-.-
