Can't forget those youthful days when I first heard this song. Rocks Off was just explosive for me, what with the intro guitar riff followed by all out drive with screaming instruments and hard edged vocals- it was just a R8R heaven. They were already firmly my favorite band, but Excile just sealed it for eternity. Never seen anything as wickedly delicious since to this. And I'm sure I'll never will.

I attended this concert, at age 17. This is one song from their set which wasn't included in the movie, "Ladies & Gentlemen, The Rolling Stones". I guess they didn't feel there was a good enough performance from the 4 shows that were filmed in Texas. It's a shame, since it's one of my favorite Stones songs, though Keith's backing vocal is sorely missed, here. Thanks for posting!

You can tell what drug Kieth is on by recording. This one is clearly cocaine based on how he is slightly accelerated time on the opening. Don't try that at hom kitties, Kieth Richards is one of four individuals to ever exist who can pull off drug use as a positive. musicly anyways:)

Another commenter asked for examples. Then, BB12 listed names of 6 additional people. Those 6 plus Mr. Richards equals 7 people. BB12 said previously that only 4 people had successfully combined drugs and music. Therefore, 3 of those 7 names listed were unsuccessful in combining drugs and music. OK?

And if he happened to smoke a joint and down a few shots of whiskey, what would that sound like? then if he did some amphetamines for stimulation, cause he's done 2.5 depressants vs. 1 stimulant so far. now, some valium to take the edge off the speed. would they cancel each other out? assuming that dosages were titrated properly.
