from another point of view i believe that u can your child to public school and still have a strong positive impact on her education and her individuality depending on how diverse the area and the openmindedness of her teachers. and if one day she comes home because she hd a dispute with a teacherright then and there you can switch to home school. just do what you think is right with your child inmind and i am sure you'll make the right decision
I agree and disagree. I agree that school need to help stuents as individuals and thatby bing in school and going to school every day you are giving in to the system. I even agree tthat home schooling is better for a childs education and behavior but before you make a final decision for home or public school think about your child feelings when she gets older. she maybe slightly socially out cast because she is different. though she can get over that with your help.
Your daughter is lucky 2 have a conscious mother because she has the opportunity grow with a free mind from the ground up. You are NOT wrong 4 wanting your child 2 be an free thinking individual and not a sheep.

A mother is a childs 1st teacher. NO, don't let others do it for you. I instill in my child the vaules and morals of our family and he knows who he is, and he does go to public school. If you are raising your child, and she does something another child is doing that is wrong, please make it a teachable moment. Your child could be learning some great life lessons with you being the teacher. Your, child may be able to help another child who does not have a parent like you! Spread the positve!
I love this video and it will be on my homeschool blog. I think that when we speak of "socialization", we forget that it should be well rounded so that they can be well rounded. They shouldn't have to be exposed so some of the ill behaved children that are part of the system. I was graduated public schools and I think I suffer from many dreams deferred. We are starting homeschool and with a 9 and 6 year old. Thanks for taking a stand and helping others to do so. Stay strong.
I agree and are an example of what you are saying. I pulled away from, I would assert the "Commonality" of the norm in terms of the age rate learning. I began to educate myself from the age of 12 until this day. We are in every way mentally, emotionally and even spiritually dictated in more ways than one realize based upon even conformation. There is so much in this. I agree with you dear sister.
My daughters have never been to daycare or formal school, and they are able to interact easily with people of any age, including other children. I've seen the benefits of allowing them to be individuals and homeschooling. I love that I can build their curriculum around their needs. We have been entrusted with our children to raise and teach. I for one refuse to give that right away. Your instincts as a mother trump social expectations. A true friend would support you. God bless!
Also separating children from their elders means that their elders have little time to pass on their wisdom / knoweledge however big/little it may be.
Great video. I understand what you are saying. Most people don't even realize they are following the same old patterns and rituals because it's automatic. They don't think about it. People need to recognize these things and question the patterns they are so intent on following.

Sending your child to these public slave institutions will corrupt her and cause her to mimic the behavior and mind set of other children.
A child that hang around strong adults or teens will mature, learn more and be wise.
My daughter will be 2 this July and there is no way I'm sending her to these satanic institutions of me so they could program my child.
I'm the parent and she will be educated on my terms. I refuse to have my child programmed to think like a robot.
