Complete with diversions to Pittsburgh PA and Memphis TN. Then I went to pick up my truck from the parking lot and found that a tree fell on it. Sucked, but the Mercedes next to me was totaled by the same tree...

Seriously. This lady is bitching when they went out of their way to get her to where she was going when circumstances beyond their control prevented execution of the original plan. The other option was to put her up in a hotel, which she probably could have insisted they do if she had truly wanted it.

XD Too true. In all fairness, though, if there is a weather problem in Newark that causes a detour to DC, what the fuck is United supposed to do?
United air traffic controller 1: "Hey, we've got weather problems."
UATC 2: "Really? Ah well, let's turn on the weather manipulator. Clear up those storms really nicely."

but if you are going to Newark and they cant land there why not try JFK, Laguardia, Whiteplanes, all closer to Newark and JFK and La Guardia I know are able to handle planes in snow storms.

fetchingly, articulate, sassy woman who had the presence of mind to pull out the video camera and document the thing, but also: the chin hardware. Now..don't get me wrong...I had an airline flat out STEEL my musicaql instrument...not a taylor...so I'm not saying everyting that happens with the airlines is peachy keen...but I am saying that life happens and I think the general public doesn't realize how well run the airlines are...flying is a feat of science!!! Flight is AMAZING...and the fact aht we have it at our disposal at all should be something we are all thankful of. THINK POSITIVE PEOPLE!!!
