  • Very enjoyable thank you

  • The fact that he thought Obama was going to be any different, makes him lose all credibility.

  • I'd vote for Wesley Clark Sr. in a second if I lived in the US

Wish he could run in 2012; he and Wes Clark Jr. are fucking amazing!

    =3

  • the women next to Joe is so dam weak that i would rather pick any 9th grader after 2 weeks practise with debates.

  • McCain served for only 6 months, before he was taken prisoner.

    He has zero experience.

  • clark and mccain both suck dick, if any of you think being a president is anything other or more than a puppet show..... sigh ..... you are tarded. lol

  • is this the same person that murdered children in Waco Texas?

  • Gen. Wesley Clark is a war criminal. Scumbag should be in prison.

  • @AcaRainski Yes right along with Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld.

  • are all the journalists in america thet cold ?

  • 08/05/2010's true today is 11 years since you dropped cluster bombs in Nis (Serbia) and killed 15 people, including civilians and one was pregnant (9 months). Bravo "General", bravo "heroes" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yesterday, 21.04. 2010 there were exactly eleven (11) years from when you're killed sixteen (16) journalists of Radio Television Serbia. Eleven (11) years from when you press declared legitimate war aim. Are you aware of what you did - you fool? Who is you improve in general? You're a retard and a disgrace the U.S. Army!

  • I d like this guy to be president. talks alot of sense.

  • Hi all this is the us governor please subscribe

  • It was a pretty laughable idea that McCain was qualified to be president simply because he was captured by the enemy 40 years ago.

  • probably if he were president instead of obama, he would send our troops not only to iraq, but most likely to Vietnam bcuz they gave him a good a good spanking for bombing villages and civilians and most likely made him cry for mommy. he would create WWIII by pissing off the russians by installing fuckin missile shields.

  • lol the gooks have had it to easy for the last 40 years :P they could appear on the coast of california if we're not careful !

  • That lady is asking the giving the fakest and most pandering opposition. Everything about NBC is manufactured.

  • "This is John McCain we're talking about..."

Like he's the last word on anything

  • Clark couldnt lick McCains shoes

  • Why? Easy to say, harder to justify.

  • Lick his shoes? Why would he want to. McCains not worth it. Not imo, something to aspire to.

Clark is thoughtful. Something people like you don't seem to understand.

Republicanism is paramount to the world's vew on American nature. Ignorance, arrogance and a fear of change, because then, you might actually have to do some reading.

  • If Wesley Clark had been the nominee in '04 the world would be a very different place.

  • Wes Clark would be a great nomination for the cabinet, but the real question to ask is: Does General Wes Clark WANT a cabinet position? I could very well be wrong, but he doesn't strike as the type that wants to get into the political arena. Being a 4 star general, I'm sure he's seen his fill of politics.

  • Gen Clark is the only person from the Clinton admin - that i would use with the new Admin -

    HE WA ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

  • Amen to that my friend. Gen.Clark must be a part of the Obama administration. Gen.Clark was right on calling the war in Iraq as a strategic blunder, was and is right in advocating long before it became fashionable to talk and engage people we disagree with, and furthermore Gen.Clark was right in his assessment of John Mccain's lack and careless judgment.

Sarah Palin for V.P.? What? thank God my country made the right choice. We dodge a disaster in the making from the Mavericks.

  • bryannforClark: I served under Gen Clarke @ SOUTHCOM. I agree with what U say. I hope Obama considers him 4 Scty of Defense. Thumbs up!

  • I absolutely agree, I mean the USA have always supported war criminals and why not put the biggest war criminal into the new admin - It's in the spirit of your country!

  • War Criminals - EVERY Country have "ligitimate war criminals" meaning authorize by their country leaders to defend and protect "by any means neccessary"

Lets clarify what the term "War Criminal"

"An offender who violates international law during times of war"

    "WAR"

a conflict carried on by force of arms, as between nations or between parties within a nation; warfare, as by land, sea, or air.

  • That is exactly my point : What was he defending or protecting???

and also it's stupid to talk about international law when the US and a couple of other countries can violate it whenever they feel like it !

  • mccain and palin have no military strategy skills - here's the proof on this youtube slip-

    paste + search it in youtube search box;

    watch?v=2UN-AJ7VFY4

  • Gen. Clark is absolutely right on the McCain leadership issue.

  • VotingTips com

  • Fuck you and fuck John McCain, he was a failure all the way in the military, telling the truth is the best thing, he was a prisoner of war nothing more, he is not qualified to be a leader at all, Gen. Clark is an expert at this so shut the fuck up the rest of you.

  • American Militias Forming and Growing: Pass Along!

    watch?v=1oAy_U7DaqA

  • Wesley Clark is a smart man. He should be President

  • In what capacity did you work with General Clark? What specifically are you disagreeing with? Do you personally attack everyone you disagree with? Are you talking about Facts or Opinion?

  • if i was the general id be like HEY! I BEEN THERE I DONE THAT STEP THE FUCK OFF!!!

you arent a general and not know whats up. i dont like how they try to make him look unpatriotic.

im a military wife and from what i have seen a lot of people who have been in battle dont want this to be a life long war they want what needs to be done be done then ENOUGH the only ones who are like yay war are the ones who haven't expirienced (sp) it

  • It's nice to see someone state clearly that being a vet or pow does not make you a foreign policy strategist or qualify you for running the military.

The talking heads blurting 'Obamas not experienced there either' and refusing to acknowledge his answer that it's not Obamas claimed qualification... ooh scummy. A fox news moment...

  • McCain is not only a geriatric patient but also a psychiatric patient.

  • I love General Wesley Clark, and honorable man who knows about John McCain and the DANGER a McCain Presidency would be.

McCain is a LUNATIC, not responsible, not stable mentally or otherwise.

MCain is a warmonger idiot who will "push the button."

    BTW,

The Honorable General Colin Powell obviously concurs...John McCain has been Powell's friend for 25 years...and TODAY General Colin Powell ENDORSED OBAMA.

Both of these two Generals know what they are talking about, both for OBAMA.

  • People talk about John McCain like he took out a company of Vietnamese soldiers himself, while saving his fellow solders and a bunch of puppies and kittens. Yes, he was a POW, but I agree, that doesn't qualify him to be president. If anything, you'd think he'd want to be against war, after being a POW for so long.

  • but as a pow he didnt really SEE battle you know?

being tortured gives him his own want for revenge

a lot of people who were in the battle do not want to fight

  • John Mcsame is F**king Crazy

  • hey i just redid my profile :)

  • No Way, No How, No McSame!

  • No 1 can question general Clark's judgement and the truth that he speaks, all the conservatives are dick licking chritian child raping pedophile faggots like glenn beck morning HOE JOE bill ofaggy and dumbass Palin of course. Mccain is a heartbeat away from death.

  • Oh YES WHY AREN'T YOU THE PRESIDENT ?????

  • Gen. Wesley Clark was a 4 star general and former Supreme Allied Commander in Europe. Someone should dick-slaps these 3 cocksucker reporters for thinking that they have audacity to question his judgement and critical skills....

  • Mcsame Suspends Campaign and he wants to delay the DEBATE because he is OVERWORKED and in PANIC. (*take a look at my video's)

He cannot handle two different situationS...mccain = too OLD for the job..

    OBAMA '08

  • I've seen that video. Now, I wouldn't vote for McCain for gold, but that scene doesn't mean anything. That woman was given a choice to enter the meeting, but she'd have to leave her sign behind. I think that's fair enough. The purpose of that meeting was for McCain to talk to people, not for people to wave political signs around, distracting others. It's just a matter of good manners, really. The trespassing charge was bullshit, agreed, but I'd be surprised if the judge didn't throw it out.

  • This guy is overflowing with common sense.

  • OBAMA '08 !!!!!!!!!!

  • Are you serious capitolguy106, are you that ignorant. Former Gen. Wesley Clark is considered one the greatest Soldiers the US has ever had and Commanders in NATO. Why: 34 yrs military service, graduated 1st in his class at west point, shot 4!!! times in an operation in Vietnam despite being severly wounded continued to lead his men in a counter attack and won. Given one of the most demanding commands as Commander of all NATO forces in Europe. Lead the successful Balkan campaign.

  • Has a Master in Miltary Science and degree in Politics and Economics. And you say inexperianced. Below is all of his decorations. Combat Infantryman Badge Parachutist Badge Defense Distinguished Service Medal (5) Army Distinguished Service Medal (2) Silver Star Legion of Merit (4) Bronze Star (2) Purple Heart French Ordre national du Mérite German Merit Cross of the Federal Republic (Order of Merit) Presidential Medal of Freedom
  • Yeah, yeah, fine, randomusernamemygod. But that's nothing. Look at McCain in contrast:

    Graduated #894 in a class of 899;

Totalled four or five multi-million dollar jets BEFORE the crash that got him captured.

Now, THAT'S a real man with some hefty credentials!

  • "But that's nothing. Look at McCain in contrast" Are you serious?

Came 5th from bottom in his class, and flew a 2mil jet in comparison to 1st in class at West Point and commander of all NATO forces in Europe that numbers in the billions if not trillions of dollars in hardware, personal and support. That includes entire Air Forces.

  • McCain does not have hefty creditials in military terms but served as a hero as anyother airmen. The other Airmen not real men to you. The men on the ground who had higher fatality rates slogging it out on the ground not real men?

  • Wesley Clark served for 34 years and he does have hefty credentials if you look at his positions in the military and decorations.

  • See my video on comparing the candidates educational background and voice your opinion!

    my video is called..

    Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin

    thanks!

    *A Proud Army Wife*

  • randomuser, I was kidding; I was being sardonically satirical. My reply was really aimed at capitolguy, using you, I admit, as my straight man. I was and am fully in agreement with you, not only now, but in the comments that preceded my first reply. Take another look at my remark. Maybe I was too deadpan. :-)

  • Besides, this whole experience debate is so much rubbish to begin with. McCain has more experience than Obama as a Senator. Period. And so what?

President's have advisors - THEY have the experience. A president needs to be smart, able to assimilate detail while maintaining broad perspective - being educated and well read can only help, which puts Obama far ahead of McCain. Besides, wouldn't it be nice to have a president who's actually read the Federalist Papers for a change?

  • See my video on comparing the candidates educational background and voice your opinion!

    my video is called..

    Obama/Biden vs. McCain/Palin

    thanks!

    *A Proud Army Wife*

  • I don't know why you replied to me with this - was it my glib reply to randomuser, because if so, I wasn't being literal. Good video, btw, well done. Excellent info to have out there.

But I already knew Obama was ten times as educated as McCain, not to mention ten times as smart. As for Palin, she's not even worth mentioning in that regard. Don't get me wrong - she's wily, smart like a street fighter for her own ambitions, but in worldly terms, she's about as vacuous and empty as one can get.

  • oh no, it was meant for you. I thought you might like to put your input on my video.

    THANKS!

  • I tried, but it didn't take. I don't know why that happens, but I didn't want to write it again.

Basically, I just said that I thought it was good, that I'm glad you're putting information out there like that. On a practical level, I would suggest making the text a little bigger and maybe bold, to make the white stand out more.

I hope you do more. So many things to talk about - the fallacy of "experience"; or McCain the great deregulator (and we see where that has taken us); and such like.

  • A war hero only in America...RAMBO STYLE !!!

  • Are American crazy..chosing a 'war hero' is a credential to presidency? and this you call democracy ??

Shallow democracy from cowboy country..will never grow up from arrogance !!!

  • I'm not sure what you mean in your last sentence as it makes no sense whatsoever tho i don't fault you for it, english obviously isn't your first language. To answer your question, no Americans are NOT crazy, we have NOT chosen John McCain, we WILL choose Barack Obama, a man who will lead our nation to prosperity and bring respect and dignity back to America. This is what makes us a democracy.

  • McNovaCain, the sleeping pill - he is not just boring, he also is dangerous! Most of the time he seems not realy to know, what he is talking about - makes one mistake after another - Who would want that Dude to have the finger at the red button???

It takes a retard to vote for McNovoCain!

He certainly was in need of Nurse Palin - but that doesn't make a difference - he is not the one, America will have as next president!

As long you're sane - don't vote for McInsane!

  • Wes is awesome! Hell he took 3 or 4 rounds from an AK47 and kept right on fighting, and leading his unit out of the fire-fight. Not to mention what he did later as Allied Commander of NATO. HE doesn't just know HOW to fight a war, he knows WHEN we should be fighting a war.

I wish he had run. Maybe next time or the time after. Got my vote.

  • He could shut John McCain up and he is not afraid to speak. He is pretty cute too.

  • okay, maybe IM just not understanding this, but how does john being a POW make him the better military leader? i mean, he didn't even avoid being captured....and also, as far as im concerned, didn't he spill his guts to the enemy when he was captured? not very honorable. plus, i think we need a fresh look on the war, not the same old white folks that make profit off the war telling us how we should fight it.

  • clark is awesome. he nailed their questions!

  • the veep for Obama

  • It was the Clintons who helped his unwanted resignation from the US Army. Supporter I think not, just someone who believes in a parties policies.

  • Yet he backed Clinton, not Obama, when she was running for presidency.

  • "just someone who believes in a parties policies" He obviously belived her admins policies would be better for the US then Obama's.

  • Its funny, one of the producers points out that Obama wants to get the toops out of Iraq within 16 months, and says it with sort of a snort.

Hasn't The Iraqi government and our President reached this same agreement within the past few weeks? Funny how times change so swiftly.

  • Clark lays it down. I don't know how to contradict the man, really.

  • these presenters were retarded...Vote Obama!

  • Clark should be the next VP. Everything he said about McCain is true. McCain is a total flip-flopper. First he's against torture then he's for it. Way back when, he was for campaign finance reform, but thats gone out the window. The guy is a lair who will do anything to become president.

  • He may actually be the next VP.

Obama may have tipped his hand today.

  • Joe Scarbough has so much hate in him. He loves to tear everyone down. He has proven to me that this republican is now a dem with the same hate in them. As for Clark...what a jerk he has become. I can only imagine what the men and women that served under him thinks of him today. God Bless our troops and please pay no attention to Clark as he has also become so political!! MSNBC and CNN are so in love with Obama I no longer watch any news they have on.

  • Kind of interesting when someone like Wes Clark lays it on the line in black and white.

McCain has EVERY shortcoming that the Obama bashers love to toss out.

Does the McCain camp really think the Obama camp isn't going to start pointing this out?

The McCain campaign tactics are going to blow up in face. Too much, too early.

  • Too many Americans are stupid. How can any reasonbly intelligent person feel that McCain would be a good President? He's even less capable than George Bush and that is really bad! If Americans elect McCain -- then the people truly deserve what they get. Thank God, I moved to Canada 2 years ago!!

  • and if any thing would happend to mc cain

he would be prident hmmmmmm that would be a very good idear!

  • i think it would be a good idear to have that 4 star general as vice prident

some one got keep quazy baster mc cain inline

  • If McCain wins, it will be the end of the American empire. We will be finished as a superpower.

  • strange choice of words.

  • We're overstretched as it is, do you really think McCain, with his own self-admitted poor understanding of economics and his militarism, won't finish the job? Right now we need to lick our wounds and repair our economy, not keep bleeding money and getting into more fights.

  • We don't need to lick wounds we need to declare the Iraq War over and walk away.

  • didn't bush declare "mission accomplished" like hella years ago? sheesh! keep up with the news!

(sorry for the sarcasm....its my thing).

  • Be careful not all freepers can distinguish sarcasm from seriousness.

  • lol bootstraps

  • Jim Webb is a bigot.

  • The Serbians are the most subhuman filth on this planet.

  • Jim Webb said No. This guy is the Man. I can't think of anyone else.

  • Vice Pres

  • what a great man, he should be VP

  • 3 vs 1 and he managed to shut their pretty faces off....they even had to put music and even pull the joke of "u wanna be vice?" and close the show hahahahaha pathetic....god, i hate that bitch's face. Sorry people, this just wont stop making me mad. LAST POST

  • "I hear whacha sayin'" rofl what are u? cool?

"dangerous thing to say" why? MCcain and his puppets will hunt him?

  • omg bitch, let him talk, stop interrupting...

why does the interesting information gets always interrupted and stopped by some idiot???????????????? is this an american rule? Chinese ppl have better manners...

  • after the lady finished her intro, id like to say" SO FUKING WHAT u dumb slut? are you retarded? omg it's a war-hero, u gotta be more careful with what u say???? SUCK MY cock u retard ho" how bout that? Am i supposed to be careful to what I say to a tv-slut too? rofl this biach is mad stupid...

  • In 2003, General Hugh Shelton, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was asked at a forum in California, "What do you think of Gen. Wesley Clark, and would you support him as a presidential candidate?" Shelton replied, "I've known Wes for a long time. I will tell you the reason he came out of Europe early [i.e., was forced to step down as commander of U.S. forces in Europe] had to do with integrity and character issues, things that are very near and dear to my heart.

  • issues of character near and dear to hugh shelton's heart that wesley clark lacks in:

    hating brown people

    killing brown people

or maybe that's not what they are, but since integrity mcfucktard wouldn't say what they were, who knows? i therefore can only assume he's a horrible racist child molester, and on that basis i hope he and his family starve

  • pat buchanan, ran 2wice for president and lost, very negative, so far right, and a racist, selfish, and arrogant, and a ni_ger aka ignorant.......learn from barack, lol...

  • the 2 retards of msnbc......

joe scarbough, falls behind fox new's & friends and cnn's american morning in ratings, no accomplishments at all, now i know why he being so negative, trying to boost the ratings up, now joe, from me to you, be positive like barack so u can attract millions of people, lol...

  • Why should someone expand on the obvious? If you don't get something that's staring you right in the face, it's because you've already decided that you don't want to get it. Moving on, Meka is a real tool. So is Barnacle. Jesus Christ, the mainstream media in this country is almost completely useless. An uniformed citizenry is a dangerous thing, as the previous commenter here illustrates with his inane thoughts. Clark still got his message across though! Thanks for posting.

  • Now that was on the money.

  • and further, bolgernow, obama's "next four years" will be spent on tax increases and redistribution of wealth. remember, he's the one in favor of $9 a gallon gas (it's the green thing!) and what indication did you get that he has the capability to fix ANYTHING? he's gotta be the worst qualified candidate for prez since pat paulsen or alfred e neuman

  • That's propaganda and lies. Prove it. Prove to everyone ANYONE can make gas $9 a gallon...

When you can't, I get to kick you in the cunt...

You know, just like the word McCain called his wife...

  • bolgernow, are you through whining? go ahead & vote your socialist buddy in, you'll be blaming everybody else for obama's screwups, just like clinton did for 8 miserable years

  • Call him socialist, commie, pinko, traitor, liberal scum...

In November, you'll be calling him Mr. President asshat!

  • i won't be calling him anything, he wouldn't be interested in anything i want: national security, a functioning economy, fair compensation for productive work. from the tone of your comments (what's an asshat?) it looks like he's got the scumbag vote. that might be enough to get him & his scary wife in. the joke will be on us all

  • Larry Hunter has a different point of view.

Google: I'm a lifelong conservative activist and I'm backing Barack Obama

  • i just read Hunter's article, and it seems clear he's a one-issue guy. he's opposed to the war in iraq and seems willing to just hope that Obama will "come around" on all the other issues where he and Obama disagree. Fat chance. Hunter is entitled to his opinion, but he certainly seems deluded....i've yet to actually meet ANY genuine conservative who is going to vote for Obama. most don't like mccain, but they'd take him over Obama any day of the week.

  • Hunter is a genuine conservative.

  • Not if he's voting for Obama.

  • I hate eating chicken pot pie but if eating it was the only way to survive I'd eat it morning noon and night.

  • Which makes your comment that Hunter is a "genuine conservative" all the more bizarre. His writing completely belies it, as it is not something a genuine conservative would say (or do).

I'm a genuine conservative. I known my own peeps. Hunter ain't one of 'em. At least not any more.

  • Maybe you haven't noticed but Bush's faux brand conservatism has not only greatly increased the size of the government, and taken away civil liberties but it has also fostered the second largest second biggest bank failure in history.

We may be looking at a crippling blow to our economy if we don't right out government and fast.

Your brand of economics won't function if the country doesn't exist.

  • Oh, I've noticed the increase in the size of the federal government and in government spending, believe me....and all genuine conservatives oppose Bush on both of these counts.

Your statement about losing civil liberties is pure bunk...every civil liberty you ever had before Bush was president, you still have. Every single one.

I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how you connected the bank failure to Bush's lack of conservatism, though. Perhaps you can expand on that thought.

  • "he's gotta be the worst qualified candidate for prez since pat paulsen or alfred e neuman..."

cloudshe, did you ever notice how Obama looks like a combination of alfred e. neuman and steve urkel?

  • Wes Clark was a Hillary Clinton supporter. He understand's that ideally experience is needed, but he did bring up a good point on what Obama claimed he was running on. He should be the VP, he is one hundred percent right about McCain.

  • "...drunk circus monkey with beach ball sized hemorrhoids eating it's own feces..."

This is not the correct forum to describe your date last night.

  • Your boyfriend does have soft hands...

  • hey bolger, while you're at it - can you explain why you and your 80 percent can only manage to get Obama within the statistical margin of error against McCain in the polls? Shouldn't Obama be 20-30 points up? You and your 9 percenters have a lot of work to do if you're gonna get the Obammessiah elected.

  • You like to lump people into "red team" vs. "blue team"...

    I'm independent...

I like Obama now, but things he's changed position on bother me. FISA vote, NAFTA, etc...

  • "I'm independent..."

Yeah, Bolger, because someone who is an "independent" would say stuff like "You sound like a drunk Rush-o-roni ditto head, GOP, Neo-Con, McCain supporter..."

"Independent" my ass. You're just another left-wing, birkenstock-wearing, patchouli-smelling, Internationale-singing, che guevara tshirt-wearing socialist wannabe.

  • Wow, sensitive...

Guess the shoes fits snug for you. I don't care what you think I am or am not. I know exactly who and what I am, & that's all that's important...

Surprised you didn't add, "Go back to you VW mini bus, tie-dye stoner slacking waste-oid hippie"? If being an informed voter who is critical of both parties is now called "left-wing", then I guess I'm left wing.

  • "Surprised you didn't add, 'Go back to you VW mini bus, tie-dye stoner slacking waste-oid hippie?'"

I tried, but there was a 500-character limit, so I did the best I could. I noticed you didn't disagree with me when I outed you as anything BUT "independent," based on your own comments.

Seems like a lot of leftists are deluded about not just themselves, but things in general. Yet another reason not to vote for Obama.

  • I did, but you clearly didn't understand. When I say something like "I don't care what you think I am or am not.", I'm saying that it is not within your power to paint me as what you need me to be. I am and always have been an Independent. I scrutinize BOTH parties equally. I ripped Obama on FISA vote, & his changed NAFTA position. When have you been critical of John McCain? Oh, you haven't. If that's too much for you to handle, I'm sorry for that...

  • But yet, it IS within my power to paint you as exactly what you are, whether you like it or not - and I've done it. Twice. You're clearly and obviously a leftist, and not an independent based on your own statements. There, that's 3 times. And guess what? There's not a damn thing you can do about it. You've been outed. Try not to cry.

  • Call black, white, or a cow a frog. I don't care what you say.

It just makes you look irrationally silly, & not planted in reality to everyone here.

"Outed"? How does one "out" something that is known? My site has over 1.8 million hits. People know full well I'm an independent. People view my channel, my website, & my videos to find I mock both sides equally. News flash, the emperor, no matter who it is, ALWAYS has no clothes. U have a pic of Regan & 2 pro McCain vids out of 3. UR rightist.

  • Bolgernow: How does one "out" something that is known?

Um, you don't. But what certainly IS possible is to out someone who claims to be an independent but clearly and obviously is not. That would be YOU, home skillet. Your own words came back to bite you on your ass about being an "independent" (LOL) and your closet door opened, outing your for all the world to see. As for the juvenile attempt on your part to paint me as a "rightist," my response is-DUHHH. No shit, I am - and proud of it.

  • Not only are you detached from reality, apparently you can't read...

Call the color white, green until you're blue in the face. Doesn't bother me. It just proves to everyone you are incapable of listening & refuse to accept reality. If you just want to argue, get a wife, or find a mirror...

You'll get no more attention from me...

  • Wow, I didn't know you were French - surrendering already? Tsk, tsk.

  • What a goofball. And Oblahblah's qualifications for taking on the most important job in the government are . . . .

Still waiting for the answer to that one. Being a "community organizer" (i.e. flunky to the political bosses) and a state senator makes you as qualified to run this country as the kid who asks if you want to Supersize that order. Gimme a freakin' break.

  • Co-sponsered the Lugar-Obama Bill, an anti-proliferation bill expanding on existing efforts to locate and destroy WMDs, shoulder fired missiles, & antipersonnel mines. Led the fight requiring all police interrogations be videotaped in death penalty cases. Passed the Coburn-Obama Transparency Act which created a website managed by OMB for ensuring transparency of funds allocated to government agencies. Obama & Feingold passed a major ethics/lobbying reform bill. Google broken AudaciousAardvark?

  • My bad. Didn't know he had cadged to get his name on 4 bills, none of which can be called groundbreaking, as co-sponsor (note he is never the lead). All of these no doubt significant pieces of legislation that will make our lives brighter and more prosperous in the future. And since he single handedly passed on of them (didn't need those other 50 senators or the guys in the other wing of the Capitol) I guess he does have the stuff of which leaders are made.

    Question still stands.

  • I'm afraid it doesn't. You basically said, "The guys as qualified as a kid at McDonalds". I showed you that's not true.

FYI- He currently sits on four committees. Senate foreign relations, Senate committee on Veterans affairs, Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He's also the chairman the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee On Europe. I'd call that pretty involved for a freshman senator. Get your google checked for "partisan hack" errors...

  • "He currently sits on four committees. [...]I'd call that pretty involved for a freshman senator."

Or the Senate's affirmative action at work. Same way he got in to Harvard Law School.

  • Funny, when it's a white person, they're "hard working", when it's person of color or a woman; now they got it handed to them...

BS! Perhaps you can explain how he's NOT qualified after I listed why he IS. You sound like a drunk Rush-o-roni ditto head, GOP, Neo-Con, McCain supporter...

  • you listed thing that were meaningless in view of the fact that from the time Barry Hussein Obama was sworn in as a Senator in Jan 05, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee in Jan 07, he logged 257 days of actual experience in the Senate. That's how many days he attended while the Senate was in session 2005-2006. John McCain has 26 years as Senator. After 257 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be leader of the free world? ROTFLMMFAO!

  • Dick Cheney had over 21 years of experience. Donald Rumsfeld 38...

    How'd that turn out?

    Ohhhhhh right, not good...

  • In what way did it not turn out good? I think it turned out GREAT, actually.

  • Huh. Guess you're on of the 17% who still approve of this administration...neat...

I'm one of the 80% who disapprove & understand we're headed in the wrong direction. Maybe you haven't been paying attention to the last 7 3/4 years of a failed Neo-con policy. Please see the economy, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Korea, US infrastructure, gas prices, mortgage collapse, Katrina, Due process, privacy, intentional partisan propaganda, our safety, & our future. They've been seriously damaged...

  • "Huh. Guess you're on of the 17% who still approve of this administration...neat..."

Hmm. I guess that makes you part of the 9% who approve of the what the Democratically-led Congress is doing? Percentages aside, I'm one of those old enough to remember 40 years of failed liberal democrat tax and spend socialist policies that did nothing but create a welfare state dependent on government cheese, a decimated military, and terrorists convinced they could attack us and get away with it. D'oh!

  • Nope, think they are stinking up the joint...

    I'd like to see a non-partisan situation...

    But that's just me...
