i adore this movie, it made me soo sad and i cried but it was beautiful, how was the book?

It is a tough book and it's VERY different to the movie... It's also quite detached and focuses more on his scientific/mathematic achievements... I try to look at the two with two different perspectives because when you try to associate the two together, it's almost impossible. But I love both VERY dearly.
