Cover bands can be great fun, even more so when they actually incorporate the stage look, so I think this guy's doing a great job.

It's not always better, it's up to the person to decide what they like to do better.

And even if you do write your own stuff, cover gigs can be great fun as there's usually a lot more of a relaxed environment from the crowd, they don't judge the music as much like.

nydro, don't be an idiot. Every fan of Buckethead is well aware that when he performs Nottingham Lace, he never plays it the same way twice, let alone many times. Buckethead improvises parts of the solos, which is why each performance is different. And based on that Buckethead coverman has done a great jobs. Thumbs up mate and keep the buckethead covers rolling.
