Nah, NCR Veteran Rangers are easy to kill. They just spray running forward a sniper rifle looking like daisy pickers. BoS and Enclave are way better, to you people who have played Fallout 1 and 2. NCR sucks because they don't even understand the Legion either. They just took other people's territory just for themselves. The Legion actually trains and is smart. Plus, I doubt you can imagine Kimball reading the History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Now grow up, 14 year old fanboys.

@Mrphe3000 Fallout 3 has a great story but It's not as fun as New Vegas in my opinion. Fallout 3 has a sad and depressing atmosphere while the spirit in NV is much happier. That and the NV soundtrack is better.

@ZM7241994 In my personal opinion, as a fan of the Fallout franchise since the first installment by Interplay/Black Isle. Both FO3, and FONV are two totally separate entities. Fallout 3 had more grit, more depression. Where NV.. Man, patrolling the Mojave almost makes you *wish* for a nuclear winter. Also, NV incorperated a lot of music from FO, and FO2. Mark Morgan really knows/KNEW how to drive the desolate spirit into play with the soundtracks.

@badcoairsoft11 Hmmmm. Brotherhood of Steel is my personal favorite faction in the game. They have the best armor. Siding with the NCR can have it's perks, too. Plus they're quite powerful, you don't want to mess with a gang of NCR rangers. Trust me, I just had like a half an hour deathmatch with five or so of them. lol. But the Legion has a lot of interesting sidequests. Also, be very weary about Mr House's quests. He'll try and get you to attack certain factions. It's not always best to do it.

No problem. :). Also. They aren't really allies, in fact, they're the reason the Brotherhood is sort of in hiding in New Vegas. But, if you're friends with one of them, it won't exclude you from being friends with the other. The NCR is kind of mean, but then again, so are most of the factions. lol. But if you're friends with the NCR, the Legion is going to not like you. It's kind of lame, but you have to either pick one or the other, or none at all.

@badcoairsoft11 theherooftime put it pretty well, but you actually cant ally with only the brotherhood for the battle at hoover dam. you have to choose the NCR, Caesars Legion, Mr. House, or Yes Man. I sided with the NCR and was able to get the brotherhood and the NCR to form an alliance though. The brotherhood is an important faction but theyre not one of the main factions. hope that makes sense (p.s. go with the NCR. you cant go wrong with them)

ranger black armour near end of game its not power armour. its pre war riot gear. have to kill a vetern ranger to get it. luckily they carry some great stuff on them and it usually in good condition. but its a hard task on hard difficulty or up suggest you be atleast level 20 and have some support companion style.

Yeah its called the NCR ranger power armor. You can get it from like Camp Golf after level 14.

He is also using the Anti-Materiel rifle, which uses .50 MG bullets weighing like .5kg each.

THey have only anounced 4 DLC so far. Dead MOney which is obviously alraedy been released, but there will also be "Honest Hearts", "Old World Blues", and "Lonesome Road". There are also two other DLCs still being determined wetherto be released or not. Obsidian announced that out of the 4 DLC (possible 6 DLC) none will continue the the game after if has been beaten.

@xlr8is2fast Yup, you CAN get the outfit that the sniper ( whom I assume you were referring to) is wearing. That guy is actually a Veteran Ranger of the New California Republic (NCR), and the outfit is named NCR Ranger Combat Armor, and the helmet is the Ranger Helmet. I don't remember, but I think you need to complete a bunch of q's for the NCR at Camp McCarran.
