Good video. Makes some good points. I agree for the most part, and while most of the activities you mention are not in themselves bad, it is revealing that the individual is disengaged from direct contact in these activities.There is this trend in western society, but it is only a trend. It is an open question as to whether it is the result of social manipulation, individual preference or both. I do feel there is a reluctance to engage with our experiences directly out of fear and attachment.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I can't avoid the conclusion that you sound slightly judgemental? Artists take photos not to be detached, but rather to capture beauty, people travel for many reasons, including a desire to see more of the world and people enjoy football games because they are fun and exciting to watch. The way you word yourself assumes that all of these things are bad and to avoid liviing rather; embracing them as opportunities for self expression is how I see it..
