  • Niewiele go odszedł :) albo kierowca pizda :)

  • @barcode0954 my 2011 Gsxr 600 has the best power to weight ratio of ANY bike in its class..most reputable testers will say the 11 Gsxr 600 is best sport bike in its class in the world..r6 is more of a track bike then a street bike only thing I hate bout the r6 is there fairings..so ugly and plain lines

  • For the extra cost of both insurance and msrp..why would u get the 1000..my 600 is plenty for me this vid just re enforces it that much more lol

  • Why bother with an R1 if the R6 is almost as capable. Fact of the matter is R1 is not even a second faster in the 1/4 mile(that like the differance between smoking your tires and just chirping them off the line). The Top speed difference is roughly 10mph. Yeah, the R1 has the roll-on advantage, but an R6 rider can downshift to keep up. All the R6's shortcomings can be fixed with performance upgrades to match an R1. Honestly, most people may never push their bikes to those limits. why pay more?

  • @diegobaena777 I agree cuz I have an r6 haha!!

  • @KEVSONNOSVEK ya same here bro, i love my r6

  • @diegobaena777 yeah I love mine what colour an year is yours !

  • @KEVSONNOSVEK mines blue and its a 2007 yours?

  • Comment removed

  • @diegobaena777 mines in blue as well but its a 2002 luv it thou there is a video on youtube that the previous owner put up to help him sell the bike but it wont let me put the link up to show you the video.

  • @diegobaena777

In the 1/8th mile I would take a 600 against anything else in stock form. I have seen them dominate everything else to include mildly modded stretched 1000's. The rider is the deciding factor usually. I'll post up a vid of my R6 battling on the track with a 1098R. It was a blast.

  • @diegobaena777 your wrong....rider is deciding factor, but 2 equal riders one on a r1 vs another on a R6 , in every aspect the r6 will lose, 165mph to 186mph(restricted) 10.9s-10.6 @ at best for an R6, to 9.998-9.7s... the 08 R1 has the most top end of all Yamaha and the current crankshaft has the most low end and mid range <---something that the R6 LACKS!!..your comment is false when you including equal riders..the real question is why buy a 600 when you can get a 1k for a couple hundred more!

  • @barcode0954 and i love the R6 come june i will have one, been around sportbikes and the drag strip my whole life, i know sport bikes like i know the back of my hand so i dont want to seem like im putting down the R6, becuase the R6 is the fastest 600, it has the most top end power, best on a road track!!! most race orientated but any 600 compared to its 1k counter parts will get trash when there put on equal grounds

  • whos Winning ? R1 ?

  • @richiekunz

    Yeah, R1 won the race.

  • almost no difference heh

  • hahaha, die weste!! du homo!

  • If bikes were automatics anyone could twist a throttle however they are not. you can and will lose to a 600 if you don't have a proper takeoff and shifting. R6 or R1 you cant go wrong.

  • @chuck2271

When we left the line I had a better start which helped up until about the middle of 3rd. Then the power difference really showed its face.

  • @1badcrewdawg at 00:25 what kind of red is the bike?

  • @cobradaddy i know its a r1 lol im asking what type red it is.

  • @xInsertEpicNameHerex Oh , it's like a metallic red.

  • @cobradaddy oh lol okay thanks :D

  • @xInsertEpicNameHerex

Not too sure brother. I believe that is a 2008 R1 as well.

  • R6 has more torque R1 has top speed, its pretty simple.

  • @cenzahh Incorrect R1 has more Power and torque but R6 has shorter gears and it is lighter so it accelrates off the line quicker.

  • hahahaahah funny ass comment the guy gives in the end

  • R6's can get an go quicker but in the long run the r1 gets it in top end!!

  • Everybody there has either an R1 or an R6. Great chroices.

  • @xdirt3 the one with one headlight on. Both are on when brights are turned on.

  • which one is the R6 ? the green or the black ?

  • This proves that the R6 was NOT a poor mans R1. It's just a Different style animal. Lightweight, tuned for higher RPM's..

Just because an R1 produces higher dyno #'s doesnt make it an all around better bike.

  • @dadavemyster True... I got a Y pipe + Race Baffles + PC3 and catching up a R6 with a good rider on a tight track is a bit of a race.. :D

  • @CMS9000 It looks to me like about 9 seconds to pass the camera. My stock 05 R6 tops 3rd gear at about 120mph in 9 seconds from a stop... so 90-120 is about right I think

  • Its not that the R1 rider is not that skilled... the 600cc has a much higher redline @ around 15,500rpm, so at slower speeds (and from a stop) it can keep up with the 1000cc up untill about 70-80mph. My friend has a stock R1 as well and we race all the time. He hates it when I pull away in the starts, but he reels me in pretty quick after 2nd gear lol My R6 runs 11.13 in the quarter

  • r1's and r6's quarter mile times are bout half a second different from eachother... not much... like said above over hundred miles an hour is when there will be a big difference...

  • lol the r6 almost had him ive beaten a few r1's with my 09 r6 only beacuse they couldnt launch for shit lol went up against a busa i gave up after 3rd gear he was way to far ahead of me....

  • What an embarrassment to ALL R1 riders!

  • R1 rider needs to fix his feet position

  • Where are you guys stationed at? I notice the military vest..

  • Comment removed

  • Quien Gano!!! El R6

  • why cant they make a 1000cc r6? I think the styling is much better.

  • @Ace12550 because then it would be a R1

  • @yes333yes But it would look 1000 times better. the r1 does not have near as good styling as the r6. I decided on a hayabusa anyway. looks better than both with the right body work. plus its more comfortable, and a better drag bike

  • @Ace12550 I admire your individuality, you must be the only person in the world that thinks a Hayabusa looks better than a dog turd, let alone an R6 or R1 !

  • @schumifan78 Only with custom body work applied does the hayabusa look good. Like a pointed front, and a custom tail. My preference is putting a gsxr1000 tail on the hayabusa and building a custom pointed nose. Makes it look more like a soorts bike, then you are crankin out 1300cc but your bike still looks as sleek as a 1000cc sport bike. The R6 still looks better than any of them though.

  • @schumifan78 i haven't read the rest of this conversation.. but i think the rear of a `00 hayabusa looks stunning. and also from the side it's really nice. Only the front is a bit odd.

  • @Ace12550 because a r6 is a 600cc bike

  • @Ace12550 are you thick?

  • hey what year is the red R1 at 0:24?

  • @xxxlamborghinixxx looks/most likely like an 07' R1 since its Candy Red..

  • R6 is easier to corner, R1 has much more torque and power but a bit (just a bit) harder to turn. For street use the R1 is better cause you don't have to rev the sh.t out of it to accelerate. The R6's real power awakes only above 10-11ks, the R1' s around 7000. For the track with many corners the R6 is easier for the inexperienced rider, you don't have to be as careful with the throttle out of corners. Quality: Honda = Yamaha, then Suzuki then Kawa, BMW... I dunno.

    (I have a 2007 1000 RR Blade).

  • @Banderius79 Honda's are ugly and look like touring bikes, And Honda is on par with yamaha for reliability.

  • @Banderius79 you are exactly right about street and track use. I have a friend who has a r1 for the street and r6 on the track and before he got the r6 he rode the r1 on the track but never managed to drag knee.

Where as when he got the r6 out there he did twice in the same session and achived a higher speed in the straights on the r6 due to what you were saying bout the throttle out of corners. Oh by the way I want a 1000rr to experience the superbikes power, his r1 is amazing next to my 600rr

  • It's true that an R6 does have more bottom end acceleration and handles significanly better but in top speed the R1 has much more to fight with

  • @streetraider08 yeah its also because the R1 has very very long first gear so it has not alot of power from start

  • @streetraider08 I've owned both. The R6 doesn't have more acceleration at any end. R6 rider in this vid just got a better launch. Both bikes are weak down low and scream up top.

  • The R6 has better acceleration but once the R1 reaches higher speeds the R6 doesent have much to say!

  • @haugan3

    you sir, are an idiot

  • @saltedsidewalk oh... i thought this was the case... i this is wrong then im sorry!

  • @haugan3 I think he just thought that the statement 'The R6 has better acceleration' was wrong. The R6 accelerates fast, but no where near a liter bike. From a standing start the R6 can keep with a liter bike mainly cause the liter bike can't put its power down anymore than the 600 can and it the liter bike can't flex it torque muscles. Once they are rolling even at speeds down to 20-30mph, the difference in power and torque is truly apparent. And the new liter bikes weigh almost like 600s now.

  • If you took this R1 and the R6 and put them in a race from 65 to 140, the difference would be very very apparent.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Well yea but what the hell does that prove? Anyone can just twist a throttle...

  • @motomike8012 it proves the dramatic difference in power, duh. I wasn't talking about rider skills, but difference in bike sizes.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup do you start your 1/4 mile from 65mph?

  • @TeenIronMan do you always ask random ass questions not even closely related to the original statement? I'm talking about top end speed and you come up asking about 1/4 mile, where the fuck you been?

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup so your saying who would win? bike alone not 70% rider

  • Nice bikes and nice bikes along the road!

  • i believe that given both riders are equal, the r1 is roughly less than a second faster than the r6. at least in the quarter mile

  • that's alot of yammies

  • @Leeroooy good.... bout time. love my R6... but in ama... suzuki is in the lead for now. yammaha is killin in moto GP.

  • A v6 doesn't beat a v8 off the line....that's number of cylinders not just engine size....lol

  • R1 Suck!

  • Is the R6 a disappointment compared to the R1?

  • @mark28105 no, there's 400 cc's difference between the two. that's why the R1 won.

  • @mark28105 no. both bikes are sik. the R1 beat the fireblade this year. but the ZX-10 and the gixxer are still ahead of it over all. i still love my yamaha and want a R1

  • @thestrokeds10

r u kidding? the suzuki is being placed in the bottom 3 in every test ive read/seen/heard.

  • lol little buck on the r6 get back, r1 is an o.g.

  • "they don't look like they're goin that fast..." hahahaa

  • for the price of insurance id take the r6 not to much slower

  • Comment removed

  • R6 is gonna win in that short amount of race, quicker off the line and getting to top speed. R1 just have more room for top speed.

just like a v6 car is gonna beat a v8 off the line, until it reaches about 50-60 mph

  • Mother and Daughter! *-*

  • @szalyga father and son

  • @apriRs08 It may be too, but as the bike is a feminine word, I said mother and daughter. bye

  • @szalyga lol bye you prick

  • lol wow this proves that the rider of the R1 is not very skilled..

  • @MikeHuntsItchey shut up .. 0 - 150 are not very differnet for a r6 - r1 its after ..

  • @MikeHuntsItchey actually the 1/4 mile difference between the two bikes is less than a second so they should be close in a short race. But if it was half mile or 65 to 140 and they were that close, something would have to be wrong with R1 or its rider

  • @MikeHuntsItchey how is he not skilled? he won.

  • @MikeHuntsItchey

the r6 can match the r1 in short distance but in 3rd to 4th gear the r6 would get left behind.

  • @MikeHuntsItchey haha idiot the gear shifts were great

  • @MikeHuntsItchey exactly...plus once they got passed 140 the r6 would be dragging

  • where is that :O ....

  • I've owned both and can say for general riding on the streets, the R1 is much better as you don't have to rev it as hard to get some decent power.

Riding an R6, you always think, "Shoulda got the R1".

  • @theStubbsy but then when you get the r6, your wallet thanks you due to insurance ; )

  • Супер

  • the guy on R1 is a stupid pussy

  • @allenbajramo he must be scared to unleash the beast outta that R1..

  • pretty good for the R6 to keep up like that. amazing machines

  • anyone who sees a yamaha knows how nice they are made, better quality than honda or bmw.

  • @mrjimbeam2009 What? u telling me that yamaha quality is better then BMW and Honda? I´m not saying that Yamaha is bad but that´s just not correct. Either you are a fanboy or have no ideia of what you are talking about.

  • true masterpiece's of engineerin...

  • the r6 is more agile and only a few tenths of a second slower, i have a silver2008 r6 and it will go anywhere you point that sukker, it can just eat corners for breakfast.

  • 0-60 the R6 is quicker because its lighter but the top end speed on a R1 will smash the R6

  • @GibsonElectricI wrong....the R1 kept picking up....once the clutch lets out its all about displacement

  • the R1 will show difference from 200 to 300 kmh...

  • Stupid fucking race. No shit the r1 is ganna win.

  • Wow....R1 should have been gone!

  • beautiful motorbikes :)

  • Whoaaaaa, Yamaha club maybe? ;) ahaa

  • can someone explain to me.. what does it mean by ‘‘stock’’??

  • @ChinaInvasion it means these are Standart Bikes from the Shop, without any aftermarket Parts like Exhaust or else.

  • @ChinaInvasion No modifications, or straight off the assembly line

  • @Vitalisyo maybe mayybe only in the 60ft lol but the r1s first gear can do 98mph.. lol

  • Lol all 5 bikes on the vid are yamahas!.... YAMAHA ROCKS! (specially first generations, those are the cooler)

  • Comment removed

  • @JAYROYALL if you don't know which one is faster i don't think you are actually getting it.

  • Comment removed

  • @supfoo32 NO SHIT GOT THE R1 TODAY $10,000 CASH... I LET MONEY TALK FOR ME GET YOUR MONEY UP OR DNT REPLY BACK

  • r1 is the fukkin shit hoebags

  • Love my R6 :) Lol

  • lol dude its easy to get the traction the problem is to much traction... thats also why u slip the clutch to keep it in the power band. theres no 600 thats faster than a 1k off the start if they both have good riders.. 1k pull harder at lower rpm then when it does get in the power band its ungodly

  • @Verge513 lol, i have an 07 R6, moded to hell and back of course, that will out run a hyabusa to about 130mph. as soon as i can a camera, i'll prove it. and no its not the rider.

  • @Verge513 lol, i have an 07 R6, moded to hell and back of course, that will out run a hyabusa to about 130mph. as soon as i can get a camera, i'll prove it. and no its not the rider.

  • @lynelpimp no, it's r1=600 and r6=1000 lol just kidding dumbass, that's right. what a stupid question.

  • The r6 did pretty good. It kept up good

  • the bike with one light is the r6 and the other is the R1 2 lights. R6 600 cc and R1 100cc , the R1 is a lot faster then the R6.

  • which bike was which? one looked old as hell.

  • @MrMattWebb the one on the left is the R6 which makes the one on the right the R1

  • is this in colorado?

  • Отстой,параша!!!

  • I understood that, r1 was slower than the r6?

  • @lumaks7294 No not at all, but at lower speeds, it's impossible to get all of the R1's power down without spinning the back wheel while you can rev the nuts off the R6. After 100 or 120 km/h the R1's power will slaughter the R6. It's a matter of traction at the start.

  • Pretty good

  • @lynelpimp no

  • NICE NICE NICE MAN !

  • R6 riders are hot!

  • yes i have a 08 r6 and love it...

  • @lynelpimp yaaa and r125 = 125 xD

  • steveO1988: 600 and 599 is near right?hahaha

  • @lynelpimp yes you;re wrong r6=599cc :D

  • @SteveO1988

ha ha ha Funny comment... Made me chuckle

  • 2006+ r6,zx6r,gsxr600, or cbr 600 which one is the best and why? or what are the ups and downs on all of them.

  • im hoping that was just to compare quarter mile times and not for money or pinks

  • r6 won or r1 ? oO...

  • @knipser112 r1 won ofcourse... ;) it would be shame for yamaha that their small bike would beat their No.1 bike ;)

  • @metalghostrider oh ok thank you ;D...

I thought the r6 is lighter and it would be able to win :p

  • @knipser112 it's around 20kg lighter not much more or less, and has 60hp less

  • @knipser112 with a good rider R1 of course

  • depends too much on riders.. i might be bias to the r1 because i have one, but i think the r1 should be further ahead over that distance. good vid tho :)

both nice bikes,, keep em upright:)

  • oh geez, I wonder who's going to win....

  • that guy the end "it doesnt look like he is going that fast" LOL

  • @dooperr94 "you don't feel like you're going that fast"

  • @lynelpimp

no, thats right! but yamaha have pushed the power dissipation of the 600 engine to the max. :P

  • @lynelpimp you're waaaay off, geesh...

  • @lynelpimp

    no

  • who won?

  • @bonebreaker27

I would hope the R1 considering the HP difference. I think the R1 is around 180 and the R6 is about 130. Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

  • @juneya04 wrong. stock 08 R6 105hp maybe stock 08 r1 160hp

  • @juneya04 u would think that but on sport bikes its not about the bike its about the rider, i can smoke people on my r6 (while they have a liter bike or a busa) just the same as i can on any of my r1s (except its alot quicker on my r1s)

  • @juneya04 i believe thats at the crank..but differ from year models also. my bike suppose to have 180 at crank and after it gets to the rear wheel its anywhere from 145 to 155bhp

  • @lynelpimp no ur not

  • R1 looks like Terminator and R6 looks like Jack sparrow

  • @joey7286 lol ahahaha

  • @joey7286 lol what? how so?

  • @simba00784 headlamps :-)

  • "they don't look like they're goin' that fast"..........that's cuz they're not silly.
