It took me weeks to beat this boss. When I finally realized that the eggs would skip through the piranha's arms, I was sooooooo cheesed off! But Yoshi's island STILL qualifies in my favorite Mario games

When I played this game as a kid, I failed at water skipping. . .and thus found this boss a bit difficult to do, but he always was one of my favourite boss', I remember playing the game just to fight it :B

@berchboys If you mean doing that secret, just stand at the edge of the platform and throw an egg at the pirahna plant sitting at the other end, since it wasn't magically modified yet, it'd die in one hit. If you mean Killing it the normal way, Water Skipping and a little bit of skill.

dude. next time u fight him. go to a point(U NEED EGGS!) where kamek wont know u here and the piranha wont grow. shoot an egg at him and bam the fight is over. kamek will come and say OH MY!!!!!!! and u leave. take note of that ;D

heres something funny for an enemy like that can do: eat you, spit you out only and keep baby mario in, then it uses spikes and puts a red cap on. LOL LMFAO!!!!

Wha! Hah, I suppose it should definately be possible, but I never did try that on navel. So great that Nintendo actually anticipated it, and threw in a line and a boss-insta-kill as a reward. XD

When we rented this when I was younger, that boss battle seemed a lot harder really. When you miss, and you have to dodge multiple falling spores while trying to avoid his ramming, it got kinda hard then. If we just hit him hard and fast like that, sure would have been easier..

every level isnt really a problem every enemy can be a bother but still nothing too hard to deal with were you born perfectly neutral to everything? like a dungeons and dragons druid class personality? you just seem so uninterested in what you are doing =/

I've been doing this for a very long time and have done at least 1500 videos or so for Youtube (counting deleted projects). Lack of interest will no doubt be evident. It doesn't mean that I am actually uninterested. If I actually didn't like what I was doing or was that uninterested, I wouldn't be doing this at all. I'm only human here, I shouldn't have to pretend to be hyper and awake for every single moment of each video.

As for the "neutral" thing you talked about, that's just who I am. I've never really had a strong position on one thing or the other when it comes to making decisions or dealing with arguments. I'm just not very confrontational and I'm just really careful with the positions I take. Again, that's just who I am. Sometimes when I try to drift away from that neutral side, I lose control and end up doing something I later regret, so I try to keep control.

I agree that the Naval Piranha thing is one of the best boss- beating tricks in video game history. And yes, Kamek's reaction is priceless.
