Michael Fox is such a twit. What a shame. I grew up watching this talented actor in the BTTF series as well as Family Ties. Now he uses his talent to drum up support for his political agenda. Just to add to my above comment, at present, there seems to be a lot more hope in using adult stem cells (i.e. taking samples from a developed human) and using it to redevelop whole tissues - organs, skin etc. This seems to remove the "unborn babies" point entirely.

People are against it because many think it is just for convience. Just to add to my above comment, at present, there seems to be a lot more hope in using adult stem cells (i.e. taking samples from a developed human) and using it to redevelop whole tissues - organs, skin etc. This seems to remove the "unborn babies" point entirely.

they really can not. The main argument is that because during the embryo stage a fetus fits all the categories of living thing. The other big thing is partial birth abortion. People are against it because many think it is just for convience. Partial birth is only done when a baby has a disorder in the such as water on the brain(when the babies head is 2-3 times as large as it should be) and during birth it will tear the womans cervix, and the baby will die anyway.
