I advise not to take this test unless your current employer reimburses you the money. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE. This Industry is dying a slow death because all the paper certification given out, not to mention this is one of the hardest jobs to get. not worth it
@urdynamix1 Desktop Support Technician is one of the hardest jobs to get? What part of the world (and what industry) are you in? I haven't found that to be the case at all in the US.
@sonic2412 If you have a job as a DST congrats, I've worked them too and don't advise anyone to attempt persuing this industry, the wages are no better than in McDonalds and for newbies, get ready to do lots of tedious temp work (If Any) Not worth it. IMHO
Leeds. Tring to find some practice test programs to use but no luck so far. Too bad for us next year people are getting paid to go to Zenos like an apprenticeship
Yeah that's crap. We should have been paid as an apprenticeship, because that's technically what we're on at the moment. £100 a week?! That's near enough £2,000 for the entire course!
That truly depends on the type of learner you are. Some people can do that no problem, others need total hands on, others can learn from excellent video training (like ours!).
Some people need a combination of all of the above... so you know yourself better than anyone, and can probably answer that question yourself.
BALLS.
