One of my most favorite trumpet concertos, played expertly by the virtuoso trumpeter, Andre Bernard. I've never heard the 2nd (slow) movement played quite this slowly, and I do really enjoy being able to discern easily every note played by each instrument, for a change. it is usually played much too quickly for the listener to separate, for instance, the oboe part, in the ear, from that of the trumpet soloist. An extremely pleasant surprise!
