  • Now this is the true way of playing this song in standard tuning and no capo. People, learn from this guy and stop those weird attempts.

  • absolutely beautiful check out my version only take a second

  • nothing short of dirty

  • Nice job man! You have a great voice too :)

  • WOW again! great cover.

  • Great job, Man! Thanks for posting.

  • if you wanna do raised B you gotta go out and buy two sets of strings and you hafta completely re-srting the guitar.. its goes in the sequence of 5-4-3-2-1-2 with two b strings... mad complicated.. just throw the capo on the 7th

  • Well done man! Great cover

  • yo on i read somewhere that the only way to tune it is to restring it weird...is that true

  • no I play on standard tuning and it sounds just great. You can find a tab for standard and when you find it it should be correct. :)

  • you can put a capo on the 7th fret and its the same as raised-b tuning

  • Love it...very nice sound!

  • awesome

  • put a capo on the seventh thats wut i do

  • wow u r sooo good with the guitar!!!!luv it!

  • Can you send me your tabs for this song? I don't like playing with a capo either. :)

  • Keep your capo there where you think it's best ;-) You play it very nice. It's actually the way I learned to play it the first time. Just keep it up!

  • thats ok i guess. u should either capo 2 or 7 it will give u a much easier transition to the verse. what kinda guitar do u have.

  • Martin D-15.

Eh, I don't like to capo. But I'll give it a try some time, though I don't have any tabs for how to play in on the capo.

  • its 10X more simple with a capo =D.. and sounds nicest on 7 in my opinion. He uses the standard acoustic chords... (G and C formations mostly) thats all you really need to know, its pretty simple to figure out after that. Especially since you have the right notes in standard, just find the same sound after you put on the capo. Good job with performing the song too, i like it when ppl use their own voice

  • ACTUALLY (and i hate to be the devil's advocate) the high e string is tuned an octave down in raised b. but that is a minor problem with the capo, uh, style. you dont really play the high e anyway besides the chorus a BIT.

  • its on 7 genius

  • dude try playin with the capo on the eighth fret

  • Jeeeeezh! Kid I love ya and I love DMB. I need to get my son guitar lessons. Thanks for sharing this. Great Job!

  • Please do more DMB covers buddy, dont't let us down

  • awsome

  • btw how much did your d-15 cost when you got it @ snapple

  • I got it for the low price of 850 snapple bottle caps! haha, you bought everything off of the snapple website for a certain amount of caps. you could get shower curtains and spatulas, and other crazy stuff. it was awesome.

  • HAHA THATS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!

  • F'in awesome! Your playing is supreme. I play it with a capo on the 7th fret. Seems much easier for me at least. Your vocals are right on, and this song is pretty difficult vocally. I am going to be covering this song in the next few days, and it looks like I got my competition cut out for me...

  • yo man gj again, what kind of guitar do you have and what tuning do you play this on, are you using dmbtabs dot com?
