  • When Hillary ran for Senate I didn't know how to describe why I didn't want to vote for her. 10 years later I can sum up similar feelings for Ford in two words.

  • As a native New Yorker, when I found out he was from Tennessee , I was dismayed. What is someone from the "backward-minded" South doing getting involved in the politics of a northern progressive-liberal city like New York? I always felt that NYC politics are better left for New Yorkers only, as we are unique from the rest of the country. However, no sooner did I find out he was of African-American heritage, my attitude changed entirely. In fact, just how I voted for Obama, I'll vote for him,too!
