Using Photoshop CS5

Once I hit ''Color Burn'' (last step), the holes I initially made into the parchment paper don't apply to my picture. So I can still see my picture through those holes.

Any thoughts?

@ghostgirl969 I ran into the same issue as I was just testing this out for a project. You need a background layer of flat white to avoid seeing anything in the holes, or outside the edges of the map.

So you should have the following layers:

(Bottom ---> Top)

White Background---->Parchment Map Base----->Actual Map Graphic

That'll sort it out for you, have fun! :)

why did when i clicked the patchment paper the color of the background appeared black and white instead of color brown, like in yopur video???

becuase he chose those colors brown and light brown before he did the burn color option.
