This doesn't really leave anything to discuss, really really lame and biased. There is no sense in holding these demo sessions if you have to vote for the 400 over the Denon 3700s..! Really? C'mon guys, there's some limit to being stupidly shameless! I've had my hands on the CDJ 1000s and the Denon 3500s a million times maybe and the 1000 Mk3 is a lot better in terms of familiarity and feel, but the 3700 vs CDJ 400 was really a no-brainer!

Kind of boggles my mind that they're demoing table top players w a Dj that doesn't scratch... The whole purpose of having table top players is to be able to do scratch affects with the big platter. If your not going to scratch then just get the HD2500's and save space. It's funny to see that the "COOL FACTOR" in the DJ business is still selling equipment over functionality and efficiency. These are the same people that buy Porsche's to drive 55 mph.

@CoroaEntertainment Life is curious, afriend and i are both dj´s, he has the cdj 400 and i the dn-s3700, and both of us agree that de dns are superior... so... like you said, what the hell they smoked?? anyway, i saw another video of those guys, you surely saw it too, the one of the ultimate mixer... They choose the djm 800 for the reputation (words taken of the vid, really) anyway in this "prices" they forget a lot of stuff that should be candidate, and only those guys to vote... lame.

Correction: The DN-S5000 was belt driven. The DN-S3500 was a 7" Direct Drive.

all those cdjs and stuff are really expensive for me.

then with a technics turntable + timecode viynls in traktor you can do pretty much the same (or even more), and its really cheaper !

for me nowadays its not a big deal to make an uber cd player which costs 1500 euro each. All the functions it could ever have are included in any dj software

i think u can really use ssl wih any cd player or vynl because ssl comes with cds and vynls
