i say legalize all drugs but if one druggie comes to a hospital for overdose or help for anything related to the hard drugs like cocaine, heroine ext. just let them suffer or die its there bodies right they choose to do it to themselves..
And why the crap can't heroin and cocaine be legal? They're my two favorite drugs and everyone knows that legalizing them would lower the cost hence making it less likely for a junkhead to go crazy because he can't get his fix. Not to mention that you'll still have the same issues of prohibition if you don't legalize everything. Its my body, dammit.
we spend so much fucking money on the supposedly "war on drugs," our prisons are full of people with drug related crimes. if we legalize everything, what do you think would happen to the gangs or mexican drug cartels? they would go away, because they couldnt survive anymore. i believe in darwinism, if someone is that retarded to do all those hard drugs then that is on them. why are we always trying to protect people from themselves. their is already too many fucking people on this planet already
niggas be thinkin LSD should be illegal, little do they realize that over half of the convicts in the world can easily be reborn into some one better with the right tools
To the comment with all the thumbs up - "Now i think that harder drugs should remain illegal to the public.unless prescribed by an physician"
How would that make a lick of difference? I am willing to bet that there are more people addicted to prescription drugs. It's the social alienation that keeps many users on street drugs in compromised situations and using to ease the pain of losing their friends and families.
drug legalization does not lead to increased drug use, actually drug use declines as an effect of legalization, potugal was one of the first countries to decriminalize and after so, use of all drugs declined except marijuana, but i dont think any of us have a problem with that ;)
@Eddymulan Did I specify WHAT drugs are legal there NO but it is a FACT that there are drugs that are LEGAL in EUROPE that ARENT legal in the US .. SO before you want to go accusing someone of pulling facts out of there "arse" why dont you yourself get your facts straight.
If it was legal people wouldnt do it as much.. They wldnt get that rush out of doing something theyve been told there whole life they shouldnt.. Europe doesnt have NEAR the amount of problems the US does BECAUSE its legal there you dont see as many overdose related deaths, unemployment is down BECAUSE its legal.. If youve been told your whole life you cant do something 9 times out of 10 you DO IT bc youve been told NOT TO
All I can do is look at the success of anti cigarette smoking campaign in America. When I was a kid in the 60s and 70s everyone smoked. Now through education, much of our society has made a personal choice to quite, or not start.
Here in Amsterdam and al over the Netherlands you can get your 'own use amount' drugs tested. Last week i was at a testclinic and they send a tablet of xtc to a labority. I just recieved my xtc tablets results and they are good. In my mind that's a good thing.
This is so stupid I can't even watch it. As if nobody is ever using drugs in clubs now, nah... Imagine if cigarettes were legal, everyone would be smoking! Oh, yeah, they are legal and their usage has dropped dramatically in the last 20 years. Literally millions of people have quit smoking without a single arrest.

it will never happen, the government is ignorant and the public in general just say no, in my opinion its a persons choice and this prohibition has done nothing but cause more harm then good but who says my opinion will change anything, it wont.
When Sweden attempted to limit sales of alcohol by imposing a minimum price on the products through taxation, BIG BREWER told them they were supporting criminal gangs.
This "criminal gang" crap is a corporate cliche. Tobacco companies like Philip Morris have in the past covertly colluded with the illegal criminally run black market trade in tobacco.
Shows how seriously these two faced bastards take the criminal gangs.
Big profits for BIG PHARMA, big trouble for everybody else.

@UhrShak you're exactly right, legalize marijuana....and then make the punishment for possession and distribution of all other illegal drugs in any shape or any amount the death penalty if convicted....you shouldnt need anything more than alcohol, cigs, and marijuana to have fun.
now see its stupid shit like this that keeps drugs like marijuana illegal. Now i think that harder drugs should remain illegal to the public.unless prescribed by an physician there is NOTHING wrong with marijuana its far better than alcohol and yet almost every country has alcohol legal some places make it available to minors it is time to start living in the present not in propaganda!! join the movement get up be brave and fight for you right to use mild intoxicants start a movement be proud!
@christo930 actually their probation has had a huge effect on their purity and availability,it is ludicrous for you to think otherwise, you cant walk into a store and buy a coke that still has cocaine in it can you? of course not. as for the purity, would you rather take an aspirin made in lab or made in a hut in Columbia?the way that cocaine and heroin are made are totally different but equally unclean. you get anything form baby laxative to rat poison,im not sure if your just ignorant or a child
@fukiu45 I don't think you understand what you are even saying. What difference does it make if something is made in a hut or a factory? There is no such thing as "dirty" heroin. There is heroin, then there is adulterant. What you are calling dirty heroin is pure heroin mixed with pure adulterant. These adulterants are added in the united states, not where they are made. If these drugs were legal, this problem of adulterants wouldn't even exist. You are the one who is ignorant here. Read, please
Yes very true. Been 10 months since I watched the video, but legalizing drugs and regulating them pharmaceutically would cut down on overdoses, bad batches, bring in like you said, lots of tax dollars, and take power away from the drug lords which would cut down on gun crime, save tons of cash in fighting the war on drugs, save lives many times over. There would still be those hopelessly addicted that would die from their drugs. Same with alcohol and tobacco.
there is no person who wants drugs to stay illegal more than the dealers and cartels, where would they get their revenue if people werent forced to goto them.
the more you make it harder for someone to get ahold of something then the more desperate lengths they may goto to get the substance in question they crave.
Does anyone know of a good anti-legalisation video. I would like to see the other side of the argument, but usually all you see is slander or people who don't really know what they're talking about.
@jamieleng and obviously didn't take any time to learn about the stuff (doses and contra-indications) they were putting into their bodies. Stupidity can't be litigated out.
Drug use should not be a legal issue. A person has the right to do whatever they want with their own mind and body. It is disgusting that the world hasn't fucking noticed this yet.
And because of this I am currently suffering when I could be otherwise pain free. If marijuana were legal then I could be prescribed it instead of the prescription I had that sent me into agonizing withdrawal symptoms for weeks.
i think it would be good legalised but there would need to be serious restrictions and i think ud need a "drug licence" which would haveto be determined by a physician as to wat drugs were safe for you and wat ones werent
well i believe that marijuana is not a drug but a herb and thats y i think weed should be legal but the real drugs im not into that and think is should stay illegal also if weed were legalise the people using other drugs when decrease over time
I'm sorry but while you're correct in saying cannabis is an herb I'm afraid it's quite naive not to also consider it a drug. Also it is quite hypocritical to suggest that cannabis be made legal where other drugs remain illegal. If drugs are illegal they're more harmful. If made legal we could make standardized dosages eliminating most accidental od and also insure the drug isn't tainted with unwanted substances. We would also eliminate the drug cartel which funds crime around the world.
I would also like to add that no matter what law will never completely rid the demand or supply of drugs. While harm cannot be done out completely it can be reduced with legalization. Also I'm a firm believer in personal liberties especially in regards to my own body.
there is no person who wants drugs to stay illegal more than the dealers and cartels, where would they get their revenue if people werent forced to goto them.

@robobond I agree, effects of drugs isn't at the core of why people take them ultimately. It's part of the reason for sure, but it's the escape from reality that we all seek once in a while. I remember my martial arts tournament weekends being very much like being high (nevermind the amount of drinking we did), and I loved them because they were a "bubble of unreality" and that in itself was appealing. Same thing, at least to me.
