dont laught.. the english channel can be hell when its bad. sea cat. 4 engines one working 80mph winds 20 foot waves plus. meant to be 35mins trip 4hrs 30mins later. cat blades were at times out of the water . fruit machines one armed bandits on board tipping over from the fixtures. i poohed myself

Hell I have been on much worse, I live in Tasmania and the stretch of water between here and mainland Australia is shallow of which its names bass strait, we had waves coming up the side of the ship so basically it was 16 hours, 232 nautical miles or 429 kilometres of sheer hell!

Try going thru our inter island ferry, its one bumpy ride up and down from Fiji to Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Wallis, Rotuma then back to Fiji. I enjoyed it so much, love the huge crushing waves..ppl screaming and laughing, some native ladies minding their own weaving mats on board. Love the long bumpy rough ride. Thankyou Fiji and the Pacific-showed me the real Pacific Way :)
