It's not a slower version. It's the same as the one in TF1 & 2. Its just changed to sound sad not slowed down. They have the same song in the beginning when Optimus showed up in TF2. It's in a different way to fit in I guess. Idk how they came up with this specific song for Transformers, but it sounds awesome. It's cool how Transformers has all these songs. You notice em and it sounds good. I heard Jason Statham is gonna be on the 4th hopefully thats not true

This is not simply Arrival to Earth at a slower tempo, it's much, much more than that. Steve is taking the theme of our Heroes' arrival and effectively allowing us to recollect what the have done for us since they've been here, all the good that they've accomplished. It is not only their arrival, but their departure. It is truly the theme of the Autobot's very existence on this planet for without their arrival, there would have never had been these forlorn goodbyes.

@yazoo95 I wondered that same thing! All I can think of is that he didn't take the matrix because he wanted to make sure Optimus trusted him completely. It was a very "Sentinel Prime" move, the way Optimus probably remembered him. Seems pretty weak, but that's all I can come up with.

But finally Megatron sat down for the half of the movie, we can see Optimus's arsenal just one time at the beginning and Iron-Hide died quickly without the scene he deserved...
