I am so glad that Idina isn't one of those performers who tries to appear perfect all the time. She's a perfect idol for me, because (while she is very good at what she does) she has flaws and bad days. It makes me feel good to know that even Idina has the occasional bad day. And she handles it so well! You can tell that she didn't regret it, and that she'd let it go... She's wonderful. I'd love to know her.

I know! I really wish I could have even just a 20 minute conversation with her. She seems not only a wonderful performer and fabulous person, but I think she would have interesting things to say about the world... Once I sang Idina's song "Rise Up" like over and over again, and my friend Kathy turned to me and went "Ok, this is the seventeenth time you've sung this song. STOP THE DAMN SINGING!" lol.

I would assume that is the reason. She ends the story with "it was very recent" so she most likely didn't want to really go into it. But I mean she did also said "I was very sensitive that day anyway. I had some stuff going on" which we all know is the breakup. I have to say she was in good spirts despite it all.
