  • The Victims Of The Future tour was my first Gary Moore show at the Manchester Apollo. He was just amazing.

  • I was lucky enough to see this tour in Buffalo. Moore, Krokus and Def Leppard. Gary is the sickest!!!

  • I was lucky enough to see Gary 3 times in the 80s first corridors then this tour and wild frontier its so sad that he waited so long to get back to his hard rock guitar style i only wish i would have seen him one more time .

RIP Gary you are my idol !

  • i just jizzed my pants

  • RIP my god Gary Moore i miss you. I hope i see you on the other side

  • This is a man who played every show like it was his last. God, i promised myself to see Gary live once before I die, because it NEVER crossed my mind that Gary would die. : /

  • All that smoke his coming out of his guitar from the pure awesomeness of that solo.

  • Amazing!

  • Great seeing Gary Moore and Barry Manilow doing the vocals together.

  • No empty rooms...Gary Moore still Lives !!!

  • Rock out and RIP!!! Gary Fucking Moore!!

  • Gary Moore is my all-time, single biggest influence - I've posted a video on my channel of a live gig I did a long time ago attempting part of this solo (as it starts here at 1:37) and attempted to merge it with a live Randy Rhoads solo. I'd be interested in comments.

  • THE WANKERS WHO GAVE A THUMBS DOWN SHOULD FUCK OFF AND LISTEN JASON FUCKING BEIBER OF SOME OTHER SHIT AND LEAVE REAL MUSIC TO THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW

  • Who are the two morons that voted thumbs down? They don't know a great guitar player if they saw one.

  • @stecar9122003 beiber fans no doubt

  • RIP.

  • I saw Gary play here in the States in the early 80's. He opened up for Krokus and Def Leppard. He should have been the main attraction. I just wish he would have played moore here but I read that he didn't have much of a following in the USA. If that's true I can't understand it. He was an awsome guitar player and should always be known as one of the best ever. You will be missed Gary. We want moore but at least we have lots to listen to. God's speed my friend.

  • Rock-In-Peace Gary Moore <3 i still have the blues!

  • Rest in peace Gary. Your music will live on...

  • IN-FN-CREDIBLE! It is a shame I learn of the great guitarist after his death.

Long live GARY MOORE! MOVING performance!

  • IN-FN-CREDIBLE! It is a shame I learn of the great guitarist after his death.

    Long live GARY MOORE!

  • RIP Gary.

  • & not an Eddie Van Halen to be seen!;)

  • he's one of god guitar !

  • RIP Gary Moore

  • That opening solo. What makes it kick ass just that bit more is the fact that he doesnt resort to fretboard tapping with his right hand for those insanely speedy runs, all with the left.

Check out his cover of RED HOUSE at the Fender Stratocaster 50th Ann. concert, my personal favourite slice of live guitar soloing from any guitarist fullstop. PHENOMINAL STUFF!

  • god almighty, are guitars supposed to do that? Incredible!

  • R.I.P Gary Moore - You're one of the greatest! Strange cut in the video at 4:34 though?

  • Yes thank you very much for posting ! Outstanding !

  • Yea, he was a great one.

  • THANK YOU!

  • Unvergessen, ein Virtuose auf der Gitarre, der Beste, den die Welt je hatte

  • R.I.P. Gay Moore, one of the best.

  • Gary ........ my hero my guitar idol Rest in Peace

  • Gary Moore.. May you rest in peace my friend!

  • Not many rock solos can compare with this.

Heaven gets Gary and we get Bieber ... so very wrong

  • @FloydyTube

who the f*** is this Bieber???

  • @FloydyTube

Never mind, Bieber's going straight to hell...and an eternity of Satan ramming red hot pokers up his ass...

  • @rotanemul Why would you think Satan would do something the person would so obviously enjoy?

  • @FloydyTube

Heaven got an angel we got a turd..

  • 2 people couldn't see through there melted faces

  • 2 people couldn't see through there melted faces

  • This is the same line up that perfomed on the BBC sight and sound thing.

You could see the picture on the TV and the sound was broadcast on "stereo" radio as we didn't have NICAM back then.

I think I still have a recording I made, but the BBC must have the lot.

Would be nice to see it again...what you think BBC?

  • 6:22 sounds a bit like enter sanman solo

  • GARY MOORE + IAN PAICE = PURE DYNAMITE !!!!!!!!!

  • One the the best ever!

  • intense. amazing riff.

  • Gary Moore at his best. Saw this concert for free and have seen him countless times since. His blues stuff is ok but his Rock stuff really shows Gary,s Guitar at his best. Thanks for posting.

  • Think how different history would be if Deep Purple had went after Gary in 1974 instead of Tommy Bolin (RIP). Gary up there with Glen Hughes? OMGoat..

  • いつ聞いてもカコイイ曲だ!

  • We Want Moore! is one of the best live albums recorded!! Gary Moore rocks, just as simple as that!

  • What a shame he has turned his back on all this stuff now and even appears embarrassed about it in interviews... a sad loss to the metal world!

  • @msmyth115 cause its like wanking with a guitar , gary knows this and he rather play music with more soul like peter green or albert collin stuff!!!

  • look at this man...sweating buckets for you and he dies for every note he plays....this is true rock and roll and a true guitar player....thanks gary :-)

  • YEAH!!!!! Gary is the best wow!!!!

  • I was in the crowd at this (and many other Goldigger gigs) too

  • Thanks for posting this Dave, I was one of the crowd at this gig. As I recall this was one of a series of gigs funded by the BBC, of acts that were just about to go on the road with their latest tour. Free publicity and a dress rehearsal for tha bands and best of all free for the fans as well. I think I also saw Iron Maiden, Tygers of Pan Tang, Wan Chung and Girlschool as part of the same series, all free, happy days.

  • saw moore on tour with def leppard, he blew them off the stage. but pound for pound best guitarist i ever saw was frank marino doing Aint Dead Yet. and im an eighties head banger, love the fast shred type, but marino is and was the man.

  • i just discovered gary moore llike 3 days ago and hes sooooo good....very smooth rythmic solos like david gilmour but then he can switch it into like a crazy van halen fast runs and its so good... its a shame i just heard of him recently

  • La hostia....sin más

  • Gary Moore will play hardrock at Sweden rock Festival this summer!! Its going to be...wait for it,,,wait for it...LEGENDARY :).

    AWESOME

  • You know,to me.there hasn't been a Gary Moore video that I haven't enjoyed!!I recognize Ian Paice because,I believe he used to pound the skins for Deep Purple...THANKS FOR POSTING!!!

  • At 2:07, I think I also heard this minor harmonic / "arpegged" power chords combination in "curse of castle dragon" from Paul Gilbert.

Two hells of guitar players indeed.

  • Gary Moore F'n rocks straight up!!!!!!

  • @SonsofChaos69 Unfortunately he's Rockin' horizontally now. RIP Mr Moore
